I found on politico.com a VERY interesting article about how Obamascare could be in trouble in the House.
It seems that a group of centrist Dems, calling themselves the New Democrat Coalition, has been meeting with Blue Dog Dems in an effort to stem the size and scope of a government-sponsored health insurance option. Their goal is to ensure that the private insurance system isn't undermined (or so they say). These Dems are going after Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller (D-Calif.), Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) and Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry "Nostrils" Waxman (D-Calif.), who are writing the House health care bill. All the usual "I'm from the gubment, and I'm here to hep you" suspects.
Combined, the New Dems and Blue Dog Dems have 102 votes. That's more than one-third of the Democratic Caucus, which could put Nancy "I wasn't briefed" Pelosi in a bind because she needs moderate Dems to get this thing through. It could get interesting folks.
Maybe we should take up a collection to send her duct tape. Her head's gonna explode if she has to choose between moderate Dems and what Dear Leader wants.

It's good to see some of Obama's support is crumbling. That's why they want to push this legislation through so fast. This would be a major defeat for Obama.
I think this whole mess is causing a real rift in the Democratic party. They seem to be bailing like rats on a sinking ship.
