Police Abuse in Ozark, MO

This was posted at Bungalow Bill's site. This is worse than the Rodney King incident, in my opinion, yet we heard nothing. Thanks for filling us in, BB!

Ozark Police Department's (Ozark, MO) Taser Cams Don't Go Far Enough

It's been just over a year since a teenage boy with a broken back was tasered 19 times by Ozark police officers in Ozark, Missouri. Mace Hutchinson was 16-years-old at the time. He was discovered under an overpass on US 65 with a broken back and foot. The story gained the attention of the national media including CNN and Alex Jones.

What happened next is unclear. What is clear is Ozark police officers abused the power they were given. Obviously immobile, police officers claimed it was necessary to taser the boy. One thing is for sure, how can Ozark police officers justify the use of a taser 19 times of a 16-year-old boy with a broken back and a broken foot.

Ozark Police officers claim the boy started chanting anti-police words, and tried to run from them across the highway. You have to remember the boy had a broken back and a broken foot and was probably in shock, not exactly the most mobile situation for a person. Regardless of what the boy done, the healthy Ozark police force should have been able to contain the boy and get him emergency medical attention without the excessive use of force. This isn't the first time the Ozark police have been accused of excessive use of force. Many residents in the small town claim police officers abuse their force and then cover themselves on their police reports often leaving out important details.

An investigation followed into the use of tasers in Ozark, MO. The investigation concluded that indeed Hutchinson was tasered 19 times, and Ozark Police Department Captain Thomas Rousset mandated that a $400 taser cam would now be attached to the tasers.

An amazing thing happened after the cameras were purchased. Not one officer used their taser in the first month in which the cameras were installed. Imagine that, when officers have eyes upon them which may disprove their police reports they work not to employ the technology.

The Ozark Police Department didn't go far enough. If they have technology to place cameras on tasers, then they have technology to place cameras on cops. Just because Ozark police or any police department in the country has a taser cam and which has lowered their use of tasers doesn't mean abuse by police officers has ended. Until police wear cameras on their persons, police reports will remain doctored and the average citizen is under the mercy of how honest the officer is who files the complaint.

According to Alex Jones, the Ozark Police Department did not return KY3's follow up calls to the story concerning the Missouri Highway Patrol's investigation of the Ozark Police Department. Are they really here to serve and protect? Until they have cameras placed on their persons, I have my doubts about that. I do know using a taser on a person 19 times violates their Constitutional rights.

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. Welcome to police state America.

Rifqa Back in Ohio

Rifqa Bary, the teen who fled her Muslim family in Ohio for fear of being the victim of an "honor killing" for converting to Christianity, has now arrived back in Ohio after being transported from Florida.

Now in the custody of the Franklin County Children Services in Columbus, Rifqa has been ordered to undergo counseling while staying with a foster family. To make matters worse, Children Services petitioned for and won the right to monitor the girl's telephone and Internet use citing that it was her Facebook interaction that contributed to "her problems." Ummmm....Fourth Amendment? Hello???

Since when is Rifqa the one with "problems?" And what exactly does the state consider a "problem?" Believing in Christianity? Fearing a brutal death at the hands of her family? Why does the state seem so willing to believe the father in this case? Maybe for fear of offending someone of the Muslim faith?

Last week, an Arizona man of Muslim belief tried to kill his daughter by running her over with his SUV. Her crime was becoming "too westernized." And yet the supporters of Islam keep denying that "honor killings" happen. Oh really?
  • January 1, 2008 -- Amina and Sarah Said were shot dead in Irving, Texas, on New Year’s Day. Police are searching for their father, Yaser Abdel Said, on a warrant for capital murder.

The girls’ great aunt, Gail Gartrell, told reporters, “This was an honor killing.” She explained that Yaser Said had long abused the girls, and after discovering that they had boyfriends, had threatened to kill them -- whereupon their mother fled with them. “She ran with them,” said Gartrell, “because she knew he would carry out the threat.” But Said found them, and apparently did carry it out.
  • July 6, 2008 -- A Pakistani named Chaudhry Rashid strangled his 25-year-old daughter San- deela Kanwal with a Bungee cord in her bedroom because she wanted to end her arranged marriage. This “honor killing” came not in Pakistan, but in Jonesboro, Ga. – a suburb 16 miles outside Atlanta.

At his arraignment, Rashid said through an Urdu interpreter that he was “not in the state of mind to talk because of the death of his daughter,” but stated “I have done nothing wrong.”

  • February 12, 2009 -- Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37, was found dead on Thursday at the offices of Bridges TV in Orchard Park, N.Y., near Buffalo. Her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, has been charged with second-degree murder. Aasiya was beheaded.

"She was very much aware of the potential ramification her filing for divorce might have," said attorney Elizabeth DiPirro, whose law firm, Hogan Willig, represented Aasiya Hassan in the divorce proceeding. "But she wanted to proceed despite the potential for it to erupt."

  • October 20, 2009 -- Peoria police are looking for a Glendale, Arizona, man who allegedly ran over his 20-year-old daughter and another woman in the Department of Economic Security parking lot Tuesday.

Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, was reportedly angry at his daughter, Noor Faleh Almaleki, for becoming ‘too westernized’ and not living according to their traditional Iraqi values.

When will it stop? Will it take the blood of Rifqa Bary being shed in martyrdom to finally make people realize that "honor killing" occurs in this country? I pray not.

Governor Charlie Crist of Florida may need not worry about his political career. Should Rifqa be martyred, it'll be the blood on his hands that will be his bigger worry. He's had every opportunity to use whatever legal avenue at his disposal to save this girl, yet he has chosen not to intervene.

Also at fault would be the ACLU. Let me ask a question. If this had been a 17-year-old who had run away from a Christian home to practice Islam, would the ACLU be as silent as they've been in Rifqa's case? Absolutely not. They'd be in court daily to petition for the youngster's "freedom of religion." Why haven't they fought for Rifqa's right to practice Christianity freely and without fear?

Rifqa: May God the Father protect you and keep you safe. At the end of this chapter of your life, you will have taught us how to be brave in the face of adversity. I pray for the strength you've shown. God bless you and keep you always.

Please, dear readers, pray that Rifqa is kept safe by the loving hands of God.

Activist Alert!!! ACORN Funding Resumes November 1

After all the scandal and brouhaha that followed, Rep. Michelle Bachmann reveals that ACORN, a corrupt organization at one time represented by Barack Obama, will start receiving funding on November 1. Did anyone hear about this in the MSM? I sure as hell didn't.

Boy, Congress really punished them, didn't they? One month of funding taken away, and then the taxpayers get to give them money once again. That was harsh!

Call, email, fax, whatever you need to do to stop this madness! Let the turds know that anything less than a permanent ban on taxpayer funding of ACORN is unacceptable and is grounds for dismissal.

Spanish Calendar Features Transgender Models as Virgin Mary

COGAM, the Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Bisexual Association of Madrid, has released a calendar in Spain to promote awareness. Unlike most calendars, this calendar is chock full of transgender models posing as the Virgin Mary. The calendar also offers secular alternatives to religious holidays such as Christmas.

One example of this is "Wherever it's noted that December 25 is Christmas, a candy sweet should be eaten on behalf of International Democracy Day." Gee...and all these years I thought December 25th was celebrated as the birth of our Savior. Guess I need to get out more!

Condom use seems to be a recurring message throughout each of the pictures. This not only gives further offense to the idea of male-born people depicting Blessed Mother, but it goes against the Catholic Church's long held opposition of use of contraception. [Note: This is one place the Church and I disagree. If I'm wrong on the issue, I'll answer to God, not the Pope.]

Juan Antinoo, the Venezuelan photographer who authored the images, sees no reason why there should be controversy.

"It's not something that worries me, what truly is important is that the message gets out there; which is the importance of the use of a condom" he said. "They are interpretations of religious images, not copies," he added, "I sincerely don't think anyone should be offended by them".

If interpreting religious images using transgenders is something that shouldn't be offensive, then why didn't Mr. Antinoo depict transgenders as Muslim women? Maybe even Muslim women worshipping an image of a one-time female who is now male as Mohammed? No..... THAT would be offensive, right? War on Christianity has been declared on numerous fronts, folks.

The scariest part of this is that there are people out there who actually think that this is perfectly okay and actually empowers women. Don't believe me? This was posted on a blog that shall remain nameless. You decide whether this seems logical.

"The depiction of Mary as a transgender woman seems very natural to me. I really don't understand how it is any different than the myriad ways that Mary has already been depicted. I know that some people arrogantly think that they can own the divine. They don't want others to know that Mary belongs to everyone. She is the face that we see when we think about the feminine divinity. If Mary looks like us and the Creator deemed her worthy of recognition and respect and admiration, how could we worthless? In my opinion, depicting Mary as a transgender woman only magnifies her image and I think this is something that could be quite empowering for all women. "

How does a bunch of transgenders posing as The Virgin Mary empower women? Empowerment comes from within. You are only a victim of a patriarchal society if you allow yourself to be. Many women have been extremely successful in a "man's world" without playing the sexism card. THAT is real empowerment. I digress....

Just as we have chosen sides on the political front in the war on conservative values and freedom, we are reaching a point where we will need to choose sides in the war on Christianity. Attacks have come from Muslims, liberals, and, in some instances, from within church pulpits. It's like nothing I've ever seen in my life.

Christians have been portrayed as zealots and lunatics more and more in recent times, and the idea of religious tolerance seems only to apply to religions other than Christianity. I, for one, am fed up with having my faith ridiculed and the icons of that faith smeared. Our time to make a stand is fast approaching.

Big h/t to The Right Guy
[Author's note: Anyone who, for whatever reason, would like to view the images on the calendar, click here. I have chosen not to do so.]

Mike Adams: The Guy's Got Snark!!!

Felines, Nothing More Than Felines
by Dr. Mike Adams

Editors' Note: the following column contains graphic language.

Dear People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (http://www.peta.org/):

This Friday, I will turn 45 years old. I’m planning to celebrate my birthday by arranging a small demonstration in front of Randall Library on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I realize this is short notice but I need a favor. Since we’re old friends I figured you could do this for me as an early birthday gift.

I’m looking for three cats that have been discarded by their owners because they were either unable to afford them or because they were just generally inconvenienced by them. It is my preference that you provide me with two white cats and one black cat. If you cannot accommodate me I would ask that you also provide me with spray paint – the kind your members spray on women wearing mink coats. For example, if you can only provide three white cats I will want to spay paint one of them black. I’ll explain that later.

I intend to take the three cats over to Randall Library at about ten in the morning. The Women’s Resource Center is located in Randall. I will call their staff beforehand and ask them to meet me out front. I don’t want my demonstration to disturb anyone who might be studying.

I can supply all of the other materials needed for the demonstration: a Black & Decker drill, an industrial vacuum cleaner, two clipboards, two pencils, and some paper. I might also need a water hose and three plastic garbage bags.

By now you may have guessed that it is my intention to perform - on all three cats - a procedure similar to “partial birth abortion.” I will use my Black & Decker drill to make a hole in the head of each cat, which will be large enough to accommodate the hose of an industrial vacuum cleaner. I will then use the vacuum to remove the brain matter from all three cats. Just as in “partial birth abortion” no anesthesia will be used on the object of the procedure.

I understand that you may object to this demonstration as being illegal. But that objection does not have merit coming from you. You routinely destroy private property in order to make political points. Of course, these cats are no longer anyone’s private property. They have been discarded because they are too inconvenient or because they would be too much of a financial burden on their previous owners.

Nor will the Women’s Resource Center be able to object on the basis of the illegality of my conduct. In March, they displayed pictures of nude children in Randall Library. People raised legal objections to the public display of pictures showing the breasts and pubic hair of these children. The feminist rebuttal was a simple First Amendment claim. Now, I’m claiming a right under the constitution to terminate life by removing brain matter.

Finally, there will be objections that the blood of these cats will create some sort of health hazard. I’ve got that one covered, too. I debated a Ph.D student from UCLA on Fox News once in relation to a similar issue. His Professor of Theater was HIV positive and cut himself on stage so that his infected blood spilled out in front of the audience. He also relied on the First Amendment to defend his dramatic (literally) demonstration. We don’t have to worry about HIV positive cats. Once again, I am claiming a constitutional right to terminate life by removing brain matter.

After this little demonstration is over I will use the two clipboards, two pencils, and paper to create two sign up sheets. One will be used to sign students up for the student PETA chapter at UNC-Wilmington. The other will be used to sign students up for the student pro-life chapter at UNC-Wilmington. It will be very interesting to see which organization gains the most members in response to the demonstration.

The Black Student Union might even want to recruit students at this event. After all, the one black cat is a symbol of the fact that 1/3 of those aborted in America are black. This is despite the fact that blacks are only 1/8 of the total population.

Finally, I will use the water hose and three plastic garbage bags to clean up any mess I might have made. I hope there will be no lasting trauma following my demonstration. After all, they are only cats. It’s isn’t like they’re human beings.

Vatican Endorsing Karl Marx?

In recent years, the Vatican has taken another look at some historical figures and begged "Mea culpa" for what they have viewed during the history of the Roman Catholic Church. Galileo, Charles Darwin, and Oscar Wilde have all been reappraised by the Church, and now it appears that Karl Marx has joined the list.

From the Times of London:

L’Osservatore Romano, the Vatican newspaper, said yesterday that Marx’s early critiques of capitalism had highlighted the “social alienation” felt by the “large part of humanity” that remained excluded, even now, from economic and political decision-making.

Georg Sans, a professor of the history of modern philosophy at Gregorian University, wrote the article for the newspaper, saying:

“We have to ask ourselves, with Marx, whether the forms of alienation of which he spoke have their origin in the capitalist system,” Professor Sans wrote. “If money as such does not multiply on its own, how are we to explain the accumulation of wealth in the hands of the few?”

Last year, the Vatican erected a statue of Galileo as a way of apologizing for trying him for his 1633 discovery that the earth moves around the sun. In February of this year, a church official declared Darwin's theory of evolution is compatible with Christian belief. And in July, the Vatican newspaper praised gay playwright Oscar Wilde as “a man who behind a mask of amorality asked himself what was just and what was mistaken”.

Though Pope Benedict XVI called Marxism a scourge two years ago, he seems to have changed his position. He now argues that global capitalism has lost its way and that Church teachings can help to restore economic health by focusing on justice for the weak and closer regulation of the market.

Professor Sans’s article was first published in La Civiltà Cattolica, a Jesuit paper, which is vetted in advance by the Vatican Secretariat of State. The decision to republish it in the Vatican newspaper gives it added papal endorsement.

I've got real issues with this, folks. While I agree with the basic tenets of the Church (the Holy Trinity, the Eucharist, etc.), since when is Darwin's theory compatible with Christian belief? In fact, it is the complete antithesis of the belief that God created the universe and everything in it as detailed in the book of Genesis.

As a practicing Catholic, I will tell you right now that I have become somewhat disillusioned with the Church. I go to worship God, but, in recent years, have gotten a politically ideological lecture during the homily. With my own ears, I've heard more and more liberal leanings coming from the pulpit. Was I sleeping during the Mass where we used to celebrate God's love for us and our love for Him? When did it all change?

For Pope Benedict XVI to use his interpretation of Church law and his power within the Church to further a seemingly global agenda is, in my opinion, a direct path to religious tyranny. It's bad enough that we've got our government leading us down that path. The Catholic Church need not follow suit.

Does that mean that I'm against helping the poor and praying for those in need? Absolutely not. In fact, that is what the church SHOULD be doing. Instead, we're getting a lesson in politics directly from the Vatican.

I will continue to pray for all of humanity, but I'm throwing in an extra one for the Catholic Church that they may find their way back to doing God's work and not the work of George Soros.

'Safe Schools Czar' Kevin Jennings: Soros Puppet

By now, we know exactly what 'Safe Schools Czar' Kevin Jennings wants in the curricula of schools across the country. You don't write the forward to a book titled Queering Elementary Education without an agenda. But did we hear one peep about Jennings being tied to everyone's favorite globalist George Soros? Yep. You read that right.

Jennings founded the Gay and Lesbian Independent School Teachers Network (GLSTN) back in 1990 as a means to unite gay teachers across the country and bringing awareness to the plight of gay students. As chapters opened nationwide, GLSTN officially became a national organization in 1995. In 1997, GLSTN held its first national conference in Salt Lake City [A slam at the Mormons, in my opinion.] and, later in the year, changed its name to the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). Since then, GLSEN has lobbied to have homosexual curricula in our schools and "understanding" of GLBT students to prevent bullying. Their mission statement as posted on their site:

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

We believe that such an atmosphere engenders a positive sense of self, which is the basis of educational achievement and personal growth. Since homophobia and heterosexism undermine a healthy school climate, we work to educate teachers, students and the public at large about the damaging effects these forces have on youth and adults alike. We recognize that forces such as racism and sexism have similarly adverse impacts on communities and we support schools in seeking to redress all such inequities.

GLSEN seeks to develop school climates where difference is valued for the positive contribution it makes in creating a more vibrant and diverse community. We welcome as members any and all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or occupation, who are committed to seeing this philosophy realized in K-12 schools. [emphasis mine]

Is teaching mutual respect of other people in a school setting really the job of the government? Hell no. That's MY job as a parent.

The following is a list of sponsors as posted on GLSEN's website. These groups are responsible for giving donations of at least $75,000 each.

The next time you buy a Pepsi product, remember that you're helping fund the group founded by Kevin Jennings, who had no problem with a seminar on "fisting" being held for teens during a GLSEN conference.

How does this all tie to George Soros? Lemme 'splain.

Back in June, when Kevin Jennings was still under the radar, GLSEN entered into the New Beginning Initiative with a national collaboration of organizations to push for "concrete federal administration policy and regulatory changes directly benefiting the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and eliminating discrimination from federal policies." Regulatory changes directly benefiting the lives of LGBT people. What about benefiting everyone??? Seems kinda discriminatory if you ask me.

The initiative is based on the recommendations that focus "on pro-LGBT public policy changes the Obama administration can implement without legislative action." In other words, how to get around that pesky Constitutional provision that gives Congress the power to make law. And how can that be done? Appoint a 'czar.' As in maybe a 'Safe Schools Czar.' Yeah...that's the ticket.

Here's the story so far: Kevin Jennings founds GLSEN. GLSEN, funded by some pretty heavily-funded corporations, enters into the New Beginning Initiative to push for federal policy on gay rights without having to go through Congress. Jennings is given the job that does just that.

Now, it gets interesting.

The New Beginning Initiative was funded by the Open Society Institute. OSI is an organization funded directly by none other than billionaire nutjob and global socialist George Soros.

Some of the policies being proposed by the Soros-funded initiative:
  • Passage of the Safe Schools Improvement Act to create a federal anti-bullying policy with enumerated categories such as race, religion, gender, sexual orientation and gender identity.
  • Amending the nondiscrimination guidelines for the federal civilian workforce to include gender identity and expression.
  • Including sexual orientation and gender identity categories as a designated and mandated component of federally funded aging research and data collection.
  • Ensuring LGBT people are recognized as a population marked by health disparities for appropriate inclusion in federally funded studies.
  • Requiring the office of Housing and Urban Development to recognize unaccompanied homeless youth as a special-needs population requiring the development of targeted youth housing models.
  • Encouraging U.S. diplomatic engagement on international LGBT issues as legitimate human rights concerns.
  • How ironic. They want protection from bullying, but the radical gay movement will disrupt a Mass and desecrate the Eucharist and throw condoms from the pews. Lovely. Bunch of frickin' hypocrites. And recognizing runaways as "special needs" kids? Give me a break!

So there it is. George Soros has helped fund the group whose founder is advising the White House on educational policy.

Hold on to your kids for dear life. They belong to YOU, not George Soros.

Jennings Helps Fund ACT UP Exhibit at Harvard

'Safe School Czar' Kevin Jennings has helped fund an ACT UP! exhibit open through December 23 at Harvard University. The exhibit is filled with anti-Catholic and pornographic displays at Harvard's Carpenter Center for Visual Arts. A paragraph from the program at the exhibit shows that Jennings condones this.

Jennings, a former member of the radical homosexual activist group founded by Larry Kramer, made a donation to help support the exhibit. While it is his prerogative as to what he does with his money, it speaks volumes about what he thinks about those of us on the right and what he wishes our children to learn about homosexuality.

MassResistance has posted some of the things that are on display at what is supposed to be one of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the country. I personally find them so offensive that I will not post them here, although I do encourage you to view at least some of the items on display so as to be informed. I will warn you. The images are EXTREMELY graphic and offensive. This is the tamest one on MassResistance's site.

The picture depicts Cardinal O'Connor with a condom with the phrase "This one prevents AIDS" under the condom. Real nice, huh?

Here are some of the activities that ACT UP! have been involved in during the late 1980's and early 1990's:

    • Demonstrated outside the Boston’s Cathedral of the Holy Cross to protest Cardinal Law's opposition to Mayor Flynn's proposed needle-exchange program and condom education (1988).

    • Staged a "die in" at Mass. General Hospital in March to protest the unavailability of PCP drug AP.

    • Protested Astra Pharmaceutical Products’ refusal to release the experimental antiviral drug Foscarnet.

    • Disrupted opening night at the San Francisco Opera.

    • Protested design of clinical trials planned by Harvard School of Medicine.

    • Jammed phone lines of health insurance database company protesting their use of "sexual deviation" classification.

    • Halted Boston’s trolley service and traffic in front of Harvard School of Public Health to press the federal government into approving two new AIDS drugs.

(Sources: Democracy Now, Boston Phoenix (1) and (2), Act Up New York (1), (2), and (3). See videos HERE and HERE.)

Hey, I'm all for decrying discrimination. But where is the tolerance within the gay community for those of us who may not agree with their radical agenda? We hear the stories of gays being targeted for simply being gay, but what about a gay who rapes or targets a straight? Why don't we ever hear stories about that? And don't tell me it never happens. I'd bet my mortgage that it does. In any case, wrong is wrong.

The militant gay community needs to realize one thing. We here on the right are not discriminating against anyone. We hate the sin (if we so believe) but love the sinner. They enjoy every Constitutional right we all do. To bestow a special set of rules on one group because of lifestyle is anti-Constitutional. What would be next? Special civil rights for those who enjoy raping or murdering other human beings because they enjoy it? The slippery slope will have been created.

The question remains: Does Kevin Jennings belong anywhere near the office that helps form public education policy when he supports this? HELL NO!!! He needs to be gone. The sooner the better.

Obama's Nobel Peace Prize: Strange Bedfellows?

Let's get one thing clear from the start. I am NOT a conspiracy nut! Okay...maybe just a little bit. That being said, I got to thinking about the whole Obamarx/Nobel thingy. That prompted me to do a little digging. While NOTHING has been proven here, it does seem somewhat strange and may answer a few questions most people have had about Dear Leader getzing a peace prize.

Before sitting on the Nobel Committee, Thorbjorn Jagland ( photo -- you'll say "jagoff" after reading about this guy) served as Prime Minister of Norway (1996-1997) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2000-2001). On October 1, Mr. Jagland began his tenure as president of the Council of Europe. This group has what is called "observer status" within the United Nations but is often represented within the UN General Assembly.

The most interesting factoid about Thorbjorn Jagland is that for 10 years, he served as vice-president of Socialist International, a group of liberal organizations who are just to the left of Chairman Mao. This group has "consultative status" within the United Nations.

The agenda of Socialist International? Let's see....the abolition of an "armed peace", meaning that they want no nation to be armed in times of peace (especially "superpowers")...."internationalization of the economy", i.e. one-world currency.... Do I really need to go on? I don't think so.

SI has membership groups from almost every country in the world, including the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). DSA established a group called the Chicago "New Party" (NP) and endorsed BHO in his fledgling political career. In fact, BHO signed a contract with the NP, thereby becoming a member of the DSA by default. Starting to see a connection?

    From an archived NewsBusters article:

Yet more proof of Obama's close involvement in the socialist New Party from NewsBusters' Hermano who provided this link to the Chicago Democratic Socialists of American September-October 1995 New Ground 42 edition:

About 50 activists attended the Chicago New Party membership meeting in July. The purpose of the meeting was to update members on local activities and to hear appeals for NP support from four potential political candidates. The NP is being very active in organization building and politics. There are 300 members in Chicago. In order to build an organizational and financial base the NP is sponsoring house parties. Locally it has been successful both fiscally and in building a grassroots base. Nationwide it has resulted in 1000 people committed to monthly contributions. The NP's political strategy is to support progressive candidates in elections only if they have a concrete chance to "win". This has resulted in a winning ratio of 77 of 110 elections. Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.

The political entourage included Alderman Michael Chandler, William Delgado, chief of staff for State Rep Miguel del Valle, and spokespersons for State Sen. Alice Palmer, Sonya Sanchez, chief of staff for State Sen. Jesse Garcia, who is running for State Rep in Garcia's District; and Barack Obama, chief of staff for State Sen. Alice Palmer. Obama is running for Palmer's vacant seat.

Okay...this is what we have so far. The president of the Nobel Committe is a former vice-president of Socialist International. SI is the global group whose members include the Democratic Socialists of America. The DSA heads the Chicago New Party. Barack Obama is a member of the NP. Got it so far? Good. I'm not done yet.

If you remember, Dear Leader became the first American president to chair the United Nations Security Council and spent some time addressing the General Assembly back in September. Who has "observer status" within the UN but is still represented in the General Assembly? That's right...the Council of Europe. Who took power of the Council of Europe just before the Peace Prize was awarded? Yep. Thorbjorn Jagland, president of the Nobel Committee and global socialist. I could keep going in circles, but my brain would melt.

While all of this seems like a co-inky-dink, I'm not convinced that it is. The global lefties are hell bent on turning the entire world into a frickin' socialist utopia. We've seen this in recent months time and again, and they're poised to strike again in a few weeks in Copenhagen in the name of environmentalism. These are the people BHO has insulated himself with over many years, and you know what they say about birds of a feather...

    I love playing Connect-the-Dots!!!!

Sheriff Joe Being Sued Over Abortion

Judicial Watch is reporting that Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, is facing a lawsuit filed by a prisoner seeking an abortion.

In the lawsuit, it has been alleged that by charging inmates a transportation fee Sheriff Joe is restricting a prisoner's "right" to kill her baby. The Eighth Amendment, which protects prisoners from cruel and unusual punishment, has been invoked in the 22-page filing. What about the baby's right to protection under the same amendment? Doesn't that count for anything?

Maricopa County charges inmates a fee between $300 and $600 for transportation and mandatory deputy escorts when going for elective medical procedures such as abortion. Arpaio says that to not charge a fee would force the taxpayers to unfairly absorb the costs. And he's dead on. It's bad enough that the procedure itself is paid for by the taxpayers. Why should the inmate get a completely free ride and not have to shoulder some of the costs incurred?

While the only mention of the group filing the lawsuit on behalf of the prisoner is only described as a "notoriously liberal civil rights group," we can safely narrow it down to one of two groups: The ACLU or The Southern Poverty Law Center. Both are groups of America-hating progressives who wish to make social policy legislation. They say that by "unfairly" delaying abortions to inmates, Sheriff Joe risks the life of the mother as the risks associated with abortion increase with each passing week. What a load of dung!

Here's where the left is talking out both sides of their collective big mouths. On one hand, they're saying that delay increases the risk of complications in what is otherwise a safe procedure while advocating for partial-birth abortion on the other hand. If delaying abortion is so risky to the mother, then one would think that they're against the barbaric act of partial-birth abortion, which is most often performed in the last trimester of pregnancy. But they LOVE defending butchers who kill babies by delivering them breech, leaving the head in the birth canal, and vacuuming out the brain after inserting a pair of surgical scissors into the base of the skull.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is using common sense in his administration of justice. For far too long, the "rights" of prisoners have been trumped over that of their victims and their families. It's about time we have a law enforcement official in this country who realizes that prison is not supposed to be a frickin' vacation. If you commit a crime, you should not be living better in prison than you may be living in the free world.

Sheriff Joe, keep up the great work. You're one hell of a patriot, and we love you.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio vs. CNN's Sanchez

We REALLY need Sheriff Joe as DHS secretary. He gets it and makes no apologies. Watch him smackdown CNN's Rick Sanchez.

Microchipping: What You Need to Hear

We've all heard it. Microchipping would enable doctors to link to a database and be able to view your medical information. Beware this benign campaign, folks. It opens the door to government intrusion even further.

Sounds pretty safe, eh? I mean this could come in handy should you find yourself in an emergency room on vacation, right? The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

Two days from now, representatives from the VeriChip Corporation and RECEPTORS LLC will meet in New York to unveil two new proposals. One is a virus triage detection system. It would utilize a small strip or test tube and a reader similar to the glucometers used by diabetics to check their blood sugar levels. The other is a plan to get diabetics to have their blood sugar levels monitored via an implanted RFID microchip. No more pricking your finger or resetting your glucometer. The chip would provide a reading at any time.

To read more about this, click here.

I'll be honest. Microchipping scares the crap outta me. Not only because of my personal religious beliefs, but because it allows for more government control of the people. Yes, we got Zeus chipped earlier this year, but he's not going to be carrying our personal information on it. In fact, should he run off and be scanned, all they'll know is where the chip was implanted. From there, my vet can contact me.

Think of what could be done with a microchipped population. No need for money conversion anywhere in the world (a one-world currency system), the ability to see whether or not you contracted an STD in college, and viewing your entire criminal history (including a shoplifting charge you had as a juvenile) would become conveniences of an already overreaching government. In fact, I offer a one-world government.

What would be the next step? Requiring a chip to drive? Want a credit card? Filling out that pesky application would become a thing of the past. When the government can't find a fugitive, GPS tracking within the chip would solve that problem. Then, and this is where my belief system comes in, you can't do business without a chip. All done in the name of convenience and efficiency.

The problem of convincing people that this is a real possibility (and arguably a foretold reality) is that those who float the idea of microchip abuse are often painted as religious zealots or crackpots. Those of you who are regulars here: Do I fit that description?

I urge each of you to look within yourselves and decide whether this is something that you're comfortable with. Explore your faith and your conscience. If you fear being labeled as crazy or paranoid, don't be afraid.

There ARE people who agree with you.

    Freedom

Say it. "Freedom." The word itself has the power to move mountains and inspire greatness. Never before in the history of this great country has the danger of losing that power been more real than in today's world.

We have witnessed the gradual erosion of freedom, and the struggle will continue. Just as with the ebb and flow of the ocean, liberty has fluctuated in varying degrees. In the name of social justice, our God-given right to our personal sovereignty has slowly been encroached upon. Death by a thousand slices, if you will.

Freedom commands us to recognize the great responsibility that comes with such power. Not to be taken lightly, we are to protect it, nurture it, and bestow it upon the next generation. We must also instill the recognition of freedom's responsibility within our children. To not do so is negligent and reckless on our part. Freedom's power is too great to not teach the responsibility that goes with it.

Freedom is the one true trait that has separated the great from the enslaved. Free people thinking free thoughts and given the liberty to pursue those dreams have broken the physical and ideological chains that have oppressed people around the world. Millions have given their lives so that others may enjoy the fruits of their own labor. They were free to make that decision for themselves and not by government fiat.

Freedom does not give one license to deviate from civility. Only in a society where freedom is tempered with responsibility is there true peace. Freedom without responsibility is anarchy. Where there is no freedom, there is no peace. Peace is the result of freedom and civility. Forced peace without the freedom of the people is tyranny.

Liberty in and of itself is not a guarantee against war. It is because of war that freedom has survived strife and the imposition of government force upon the people. It must be protected at all costs. As easily as liberty is frittered away in the name of political correctness, it is equally as hard to retrieve it.

Evil is borne in the hearts of those who fear the power of a free population. That same population has sacrificed much over the generations in order that all people are released from the tyrannical whims of the power-hungry. Beware the person who dictates that it is our sacred duty to cede freedom for the good of the whole. This is the person who fears freedom the most and wishes that no one wields the awesome power of liberty.

Freedom. It is what we believe in. It is who we are. And it is sacred.

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. Samuel Adams

    EXCLUSIVE B & G READER'S POLL

The events of today have left me with a difficult decision to make. Lemme 'splain.

I took Cheyenne to cathecism today. While I was gone, my husband gets a phone call from his cousin. "Do you guys want tickets to today's game? Dad and I can't go." Now mind you, today's game is against the Cleveland Browns, arch rivals of Pittsburgh for over 35 years, and the seats are the same awesome ones we had for the Tennessee game. 40-yard-line behind the Steeler bench. And yinz KNOW what a fanatic I am!!!

In what I can only assume was a suicidal moment, my husband declined. His reason was that he was going to help Noah work on a science project due WEDNESDAY. Actually, he later said he doesn't want to feel obligated to anyone by taking such things.

Needless to say, yinz can only imagine my reaction when I got home and found all of this out. Did you know it only takes 0.4 seconds for the bitch switch to turn on?

The ensuing argument centered around the fact that he didn't even grant me the courtesy of a phone call to see if I wanted to go with my friend from down the road. THAT pissed me off! He told me how childish I was being because (get ready for this)....IT'S ONLY A STUPID FOOTBALL GAME!!!! I'm surprised no one saw the mushroom cloud.

So here is what I need to know from my readers. Do I:

    (a) beat him with a baseball bat

    (b) smother him with a pillow

    (c) go on strike when it comes to his needs

    (d) all of the above

    I'll be anxiously awaiting opinions!!!

    Mohammed al-Shafiri....COME ON DOWN!!!

BBC News is reporting that a quiz contest was held in Somalia during the month of Ramadan. The top prize? A rifle, two grenades, an anti-tank landmine, a computer, and $1,000 in office supplies. The winners, from the Farjano district of the port city of Kismayo where the contest was held, were all young men. Am I the only one who sees a problem with this?

The contest, sponsored by the al-Shabab militant Islamic group, tested the knowledge of these young men on topics such as the Koran and Somali geography. They gotta know where they're going on their next Sharia-law-imposing mission, right? Can't have them wandering the desert with no one to convert.

A representative for al-Shabab said that the quiz was intended to keep young men from wasting their time and instead focus on defending their territory. Heaven forbid they actually enjoy their childhood. They blow up so fast! And why were they given such great prizes for their hard work?

"The reason the young men were rewarded with weapons is to encourage them to participate in the ongoing holy war against the enemies of Allah in Somalia," AFP news agency quoted al-Shabab's Sheikh Abdullahi Alhaq as saying at Friday's prize-giving ceremony.

No need to worry about the losers of the quiz feeling bad. Their consolation prizes for their hard work were AK-47's and ammo. Hey...everyone's a winner.

Al-Shabab and other Islamist rebels accused of having links to al-Qaeda dominate much of southern and central Somalia, where they have imposed strict Sharia law.

Where is the outrage on the part of the international community? Amnesty International and the United Nations are eerily silent. They'll whine like a set of bad brakes over kids helping their families by working, but why no uproar about this? These boys in Somalia are being indoctrinated and used by radical Muslims to do their dirty work. That seems like a far cry from some kid weaving rugs in India. I forgot. This is the "religion of peace" we're talking about. It's different.

I have no problem with young, responsible kids receiving rifles as presents. In the past few years, Noah has gotten a few to hunt with. THAT, in our eyes, is not only a necessity but tradition. In years past, young men (and more recently young girls) have received hunting rifles to encourage the tradition of self-sufficiency through hunting. The difference between this and al-Shabab? My kid isn't going on a mission to kill as many non-Chrisitans as possible.

The perpetuation of using kids to do the "grunt work" within the radical Muslim community needs to stop. If these nutjobs believe in their mission so much, why aren't they doing the work themselves? Or, at the very least, sending their OWN children to commit these heinous acts? It's every bit exploitation of children as using children around the world to satisfy the sexual perversion of some sick freaks.

Sorry, but if I got a 11-year-old jihadi or gang banger pointing a gun at me, I'm firing first. Then I'm going to reload and wait for those who used innocent children as a pawn in their real-life game of Risk.

    Send It On

The Disney Channel has become a staple of viewing in our house thanks (or not) to Cheyenne. While I'm not a huge fan of Disney since their politicizing of movies, I can deal with it. Hey, it keeps the little diva from becoming a whiny mess.

Recently, a group of Disney Channel stars recorded a song titled "Send It On" under the name "Disney Friends for Change." Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place), Demi Lovato (Sonny With a Chance), and the Jonas Brothers (Nick, Joe, and Kevin) have come together to do the song, and I must say that while not a classic in the sense of Clapton's "Layla" (the original; not unplugged), it's not bad.

While the message being sent is geared to kids doing their part to conserve resources, the lyrics could just as easily be a message of inspiration for adults (especially us bloggers) to keep up the fight against an ever-growing government and the erosion of liberty. The lyrics I find most pertinent to our cause will be in bold.

    SEND IT ON

    [Miley:]
    A word's, just a word
'til you mean what you say

    [Nick:]
    And love, isn't love
    'til you give it away

    [Miley:]
    We've all gotta give

    [Nick:]
    Yeah,something to give

    [Miley & Nick:]
    To make a change

    [Chorus:]
    Send it on
    On and on
Just one hand can heal another
    Be a part
    Reach a heart
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action the chain reaction
    Will never stop
    Make it strong
Shine a light and send it on

    [Demi & Joe:]
    Just Smile
    (Just Smile)
    And the world
    (And the world)
    Will smile
    along with you..

    [Joe:]
    That small act of love
    Thats meant for one

    [Demi & Joe:]
    Will become two

    [Miley:]
    If we take the chances..

    [Nick:]
    That change circumstances

    [Nick & Miley]
    Imagine all we can do

    [All}
    If we

    [Chrous:]
    Send it on
    On and on
Just one hand can heal another
    Be a part
    Reach a heart
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action the chain reaction
    Will never stop
    Make it strong
Shine a light and send it on (oh send it on)

    Send it on..

    [Miley:]
There's power in all of the choices we make

    [Demi & Joe:]
So I'm starting now there's not a moment to wait

    [Selena:]
    A word's, just a word
'til you mean what you say

    [Selena & Kevin:]
    And love, isn't love
    'til you give it away

    [All:]
    Send it on
    (Send it on)
    On and on
    (on and on)
Just one hand can heal another
    Be a part
    (be a part)
    Reach a heart

Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action the chain reaction
    Will never stop
    Make it strong
    Shine a light and
    Send it on

    On and on
Just one hand can heal another
    Be a part
    Reach a heart
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action the chain reaction
    Will help it start
    Make it strong
Shine a light and send it on

    [Demi:]
Shine a light and send it on..

    [All:]
Shine a light and send it on..

Just as "Friends for Change" feel that they can make a difference in the conservation movement, we CAN and WILL make a difference in another movement: The movement to preserve freedom.

    Troy Polamalu: Back in Action

It seems that after a long five weeks, Steeler safety Troy Polamalu will most likely play in tomorrow's game against Cleveland.

Polamalu has been sidelined since Pittsburgh's first game of the season on September 10. During the game against the Tennessee Titans, Troy suffered a hyperextended knee, resulting in a sprained PCL. Since his absence, Pittsburgh has been missing a key player in their defensive game, and the team has struggled to maintain a defense that in some circles has been seen as the "Steel Curtain II."

Polamalu has risen to fame not only for his amazing ability to cover the opponent and make what seem to be impossible plays, but for his hair. That's right. His hair. It's become yet another symbol of today's Steeler Nation. Every football fan across the country recognizes Troy by his hair alone. I know of more than one woman in this area who would just LOVE to run their fingers through that flowing mane (Yes Mom. I'm talking about you.).

Welcome back, Troy! We missed you terribly!!

To all yinz Browns fans: BEWARE THE HAIR!!!!

    Riot in Columbus, Ohio

No, it has nothing to do with the Rifqa Bary case. This, dear reader, has to do with the degradation of today's society and the entitlement mentality that seems to permeate our culture.

At a Burlington Coat Factory store in Columbus, Ohio, Linda Brown pulled up to the entrance in a Hummer limo, walked into the store, and announced that she had just won $1.5 million in the lottery. To celebrate, she tells shoppers that she will pay for their purchases up to $500. The problem? It was all a hoax.

Shoppers were waiting in line calling relatives and telling them to "Come on down!" Cashiers rang up merchandise at a feverish pace. About an hour after it all began, Brown said she had to go to the bank to take out some money. She came back with nothing.

By this time, the store employees had called police to help with crowd control. Approximately 500 customers filled the aisles and about 1,000 more tried to get inside to get their stuff. When employees realized that Brown had no money to pay for all the merchandise, it was too late. The "lottery winner" had taken off in the limo.

Well, all hell broke loose when employees informed customers that Brown was gone and the bill unpaid. People threw merchandise on the floor in rage and commenced to looting the store, grabbing clothes and running.

Detective Steven Nace said, "Everybody was like, 'I still want my free stuff,' and that started the riot. It looks like (Hurricane) Katrina went through the store."

After being turned in to police for failing to pay the $900 limo tab, Brown was arrested on three outstanding warrants for misuse of the 911 system, aggravated menacing, and causing false alarms. Pending charges are awaiting the outcome of a mental health evaluation.

Since when does the responsibility fall on Burlington Coat Factory to still give people 'free stuff' just because some nut duped them? And how about a little civility, folks. I mean, just hang the stuff back up. I know you're mad, but come on. Don't act like the citizens of some third world country. We're not there yet.

When are people going to realize that there is no "right to stuff?" The only right to "stuff" is if you EARN IT.

No one owes you anything, people. And if you are that naive to blindly fall for something like this on the premise of getting freebies, then, to quote a great military man, "You are stuck on stupid!"

Guest Post from 'Safe School Czar' Kevin Jennings

Yoo hoo!!! It's your most fierce 'Safe School Czar' filling in for B & G for a few minutes. I appreciate her giving me a forum to clear a few things up. I've cleared a few things up over the past couple of weeks (thanks doc!), but you intolerant homophobes don't seem to be getting my message.

It's been reported that I overlooked the perceived sexual abuse of a former student of mine. This couldn't be further from the truth. I didn't overlook it; I encouraged it. As long as that yummy little hottie used a condom, what's the problem? It's not like he was innocent in the whole incident. I mean, when you look that scrumptious, how can you NOT bear partial responsibility for older men getting a boner? The only problem I had with the whole affair is that the little minx didn't let me show him the ropes.

Now, I'd like to address (or undress) the topic of Harry Hay. I soooo admired that man!!! Not only for his advocacy of gay rights, but the man knew how to work a mini skirt. DAMN!! Is it hot in here?? Yeah, I know he supported NAMBLA, but as 'Safe School Czar', I believe you can't start education too early. My motto? "When the wrapper comes off the backside, they're old enough to learn about the wrapper in the front."

Being a part of this administration, I've come to realize a few things. First, Rahm Emanuel is HOT! I get the Chris Matthews tingly feeling down my leg when I see him. Ooooohhh!!!

Second, people seem to think that Michelle is such the stylista. WRONG!!! That beotch couldn't match an outfit to save her big fat ass. And believe me...I know asses. I have transvestite friends who look more feminine than she does. Not a nice person either. I've seen her start running her mouth at that dreamy president we have, and I couldn't help but cry. Someone that great doesn't deserve to be treated like that. If it was me, I'd show him nothing but luuuuuv. Good Obama, I'd love to scratch her eyes out!

Well, it's time for me to wrap this up. I'm meeting Bawney tonight at Fire Island Pines. We're gonna watch the sunset next to a fire on the beach while we just hold each other. Who knows where that will lead to. I just hope I don't get sand in my ass.

    Toodles!!!
    Kev (aka Cassandra)

    I Gotz a Peace Prize!!!

This is great. HUGE h/t to Bunni!!!!!

    More Help for China

Let's see. In the past few months, the White House has flown the Chinese flag, the Empire State Building lit up in red and yellow, and now the Director of Communications at 1600 has declared that Chairman Mao is her favorite philosopher. Anyone see a pattern? If you don't, you're blind. If you do see a pattern, this will make you sick.

According to the Washington Times, the authority to sell weapons and space technology to China has been handed off from the White House to the Commerce Department. Critics of the move say that this will loosen the export controls and that China may ultimately benefit. Gee...YA THINK??? BHO doesn't do anything unless he or our enemies benefit.

Obamarx issued a "presidential determination" on September 29 that gives authority to approve the transfer of space and missile technology to Commerce Secretary Gary Locke (photo), the only Chinese-American (third generation) to hold the position of governor within this country.

Eugene Cottilli, a spokesman for Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security, said under new policy the U.S. government will rigorously monitor all sensitive exports to China. Does anyone truly believe this? Yours truly sure as hell does not. They'll be watching, all right. They'll be watching that the American people don't catch wind of what they're up to.

To read the full story at the Washington Times, click here.

Why is Dear Leader doing this? Well listen, my children, and you shall hear. It's a bit of a history lesson, but it helps make sense of this debacle.

In the late 1990's, there was a scandal involving Space Systems/Loral and Hughes Electronics Corp., two companies who were found to have shared technology with the Chinese that helped China develop a long-range missile system. The companies were fined $20 million and $32 million, respectively, by the State Department.

On the heels of that scandal, Congress passed a law in 1999 that requires the president to certify in advance that any exported technology to China will not harm the U.S. space-launch program and that "missile equipment or technology, including any indirect technical benefit that could be derived from such export, will not measurably improve the missile or space launch capabilities of the People's Republic of China." (Section 1512 of the law)

So let me see if I got this straight. BHO transferred the power to export missile technology to the Commerce Secretary, thereby skirting the law and freeing himself from all political culpability. Sound about right? I hope so. Haven't had coffee yet.

While I understand that right now China holds the notes on part of our national debt and that poses a serious problem, at what point will our defense be compromised? It sounds like extortion. Either we give the Chinese what they want, or they call in the loans. Yep. Definitely sounds like blackmail.

The Constitution defines "treason" as giving AID (and not humanitarian aid) and comfort to the enemy. While I'm no Constitutional expert, how does this not fit the definition of "treason?" And how much further into bed is Dear Leader going to crawl when it comes to China? At the rate he's going, BHO is going to make the Clinton relationships with John Huang and Charlie Tree look like child's play.

Screw impeachment. I say go for the jugular: treason.

The FBI, Eric Holder, and Hate Crimes

What constitutes a "hate crime?" According to the FBI, a subdivision of the Department of Justice, the official definition is a "criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender's bias against a race, religion, disability, ethnic origin or sexual orientation." Sounds pretty fair, eh? I mean, we'd all agree that crime itself is bad enough, but targeting someone just because of their skin color makes it worse, right?

A House resolution passed this summer as part of a larger defense bill. Here's the title of the resolution:

PROHIBITION ON RECRUITMENT, ENLISTMENT, OR RETENTION OF PERSONS ASSOCIATED OR AFFILIATED WITH GROUPS ASSOCIATED WITH HATE-RELATED VIOLENCE AGAINST GROUPS OR PERSONS OR THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT

That's right. The U.S. Government has put itself on a par with Matthew Shepard and James Byrd. Commit a crime against a black in the name of white supremacy? Hate crime. Beat a homosexual to a bloody pulp while yelling slurs? Hate crime. Organize a rally against government policy in the name of freedom? Hate crime.

The most disturbing part of the legislative text lies within Section 524. This part of the text must have been written by George Orwell himself. The resolution uses the phrase "...as determined by the Attorney General" multiple times. In short, current Attorney General Eric Holder will determine what constitutes a hate crime. The Founding Fathers would have called this tyranny, and they would have been exactly right.

Subsection 2 of Section 524 reads as follows:

A “Hate Group” is defined both explicitly and as “other groups or organizations that are determined by the attorney general to be of a violent and extremist in nature.”

The "evidence" that a person belongs to what is deemed a "hate group" by the AG is defined very clearly in Subsection 3 of Section 524 of the resolution.

“...a person is associated or affiliated with a group associated with hate-related violence...Individuals known to have attended meetings, rallies, conferences, or other activities sponsored by a hate group. Individuals known to be involved in online activities with a hate group, including being engaged in online discussion groups or blog or other postings that support, encourage, or affirm the group’s extremist or violent views and goals. Individuals who are known to have in their possession photographs, written testimonials (including diaries or journals), propaganda, or other materials indicating involvement or affiliation with a hate group. Such materials can include photographs, written materials relating to or referring to extreme hatred that are clearly not of an academic nature, possession of objects that venerate or glorify hate inspired violence, and related materials, as determined by the Attorney General.” [emphasis mine]

    Now, let's p
ut the pieces together. Eric Holder has free reins to determine who is and is not a member of a "hate group," a term determined by Holder's personal whims. And let's be real: Holder isn't exactly the paradigm of fairness.

The firm he worked for before ascending to AG has represented enemy combatants housed at Guantanamo Bay, and Holder himself has said:

"In the end, Guantanamo will be closed, and I think that that is an appropriate thing to do, given the fact that it has served and I think continues to serve as a recruiting for those who intend to do this nation harm, and has served as a wedge between us and those nations that are our allies."

So there it is. His rationale for closing Gitmo is because it keeps the radical Muslims plotting against us. FYI, Mr. Holder: They hate us and want us dead whether Gitmo stays open or not.

The determination of a "hate crime" lies in the hands of one man should this come to pass.

    "Mr. Orwell....paging Mr. Orwell..."

And now, on to the FBI...

THE FBI CONNECTION TO HATE CRIMES

At the beginning of this post, I gave you the FBI definition of a "hate crime." How does this all tie together with AG Eric Holder? It's a little murky, but stay with me.

As AG, Holder is the last say so for the FBI. The FBI director reports to Holder and Obama. That's it. So let's say, hypothetically, that the FBI receives information that a small group of church members are planning to organize an anti-abortion rally on the steps of the Supreme Court. Not wanting an ugly scene, Holder could then have the FBI investigate said church members. If any literature found within their homes is deemed as evidence of belonging to a "hate group" by Holder, the little old lady who decided to help stop the scourge of abortion by peacefully protesting will be brought up on "hate crime" charges. It's the Gestapo on steroids.

Who would be giving information to the FBI of potential hate crimes? Hang on, folks. This will blow your mind.

From the FBI website under the heading of "Public Outreach":

The FBI has forged partnerships nationally and locally with many civil rights organizations to establish rapport, share information, address concerns, and cooperate in solving problems. These groups include such organizations as the NAACP, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Anti-Defamation League, the National Asian Pacific American Legal Consortium, and the National Organization for Women.

This is a virtual rogue's gallery of leftist groups. If they feel a "hate crime" has been committed, or let's say that they've just gotten their panties in a twist, they go directly to their partner, the FBI. And who does the FBI report to? If you said "The AG, who will determine what constitutes a 'hate crime'", move to the head of the class.

One group that jumped out at me on the FBI site was the Southern Poverty Law Center. This is one of the most whiny group of progressives and socialists to take up space in this country, and they have an interactive map of what they have dubbed "hate groups" in each state.

In my home state of Pennsylvania, here are some of the groups put into the same category as the Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Nation.
    • Catholic Counterpoint
    • Alliance for Catholic Tradition
    • Council of Conservative Citizens
    • Catholic Apologetics International
While I know nothing about these groups and their methods, I will say, in all fairness, that the New Black Panther Party and Nation of Islam are also on the SPLC list of "hate groups." But since when is belonging to a group of conservative citizens equated with belonging to the Klan? Maybe since the partnership with Eric Holder's FBI was formed? It is quite the possibility.

I wonder if Eric Holder and the FBI are following this advice:

Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas. -- Josef Stalin
