My Thoughts on Indoctrination

First, I apologize for being scarce today. My internet was down (systemwide problem) and they just now got it up and running. Think they'll pro-rate my monthly bill? No way. Bastards.

This Tuesday, BHO is planning on addressing the Obama Youth of this nation. I put a call in to my daughter's elementary school and was told that they'll have it on tape and leave it up to the teachers whether they want to use it as a social studies lesson. Advance notice will be given (or so I was told) to the parents and there will be an opt out clause. Do I believe this? Only in the same breath that I believe BHO is a better president than Reagan.

While I am no stranger to any of the teachers in her school, I don't trust that my wishes would be followed should I choose to opt out. Zee teacherz vill only be following orderz. Right now, I am of the mindset that if and when this happens, my kids are staying home.

Bungalow Bill has a great post to give parents another perspective on the "stay home" issue. My opinion? If they're going to collect names and gather an enemies' list, it'll be without the indoctrination of my kids.

As for Noah, who attends the local senior high, I plan on going to the office tomorrow before grocery shopping and finding out exactly what their plans are. I'll keep everyone updated.

It's bad enough when they try to saturate the media with the numerous speeches by BHO (or as I like to call it -- the image of the Beast), but when it comes to my kids, they're screwing with the wrong parent.

Don't F with the black and gold fan! You got it school district? You better... ;)

I would just take them out of school on Tuesday. I think it would be funny if 50% of public school kids got an extended vacation. I think it would send a real message to Obama.

BB: The school district has NO idea how bitchy I can be, but they may get that chance!

I don't know if they're going to use it Tuesday or not being that theirs will be on tape. I've got to wait and see. God help the bureaucrat who "forgets" to inform me of when its going to be shown!

I posted a comment at LCR in response to The Law. My question was why do this in school when they could do this on t.v. during primetime? My theory? Because we can turn it off at home.

Good God, my blood is boiling!

From what I understand it is only for elementary kids. I have a 3rd grader and a 10th. Both in public school. I am not quite sure what I am going to do yet. On one side I think it would be best to go to school with him that day and then talk to him about it. He needs to have a perspective. But keeping him home will send a message loud and clear.

Funny that we're starting to indoctrinate the Obama Youth the day after Labor Day, celebrating the proletariat working class.....

My blood is boiling too on this one. This is outrageous stuff. I noticed that the Troll NYP over at LCR also had no problem with this 'speech', whereby I pointed out that this showed his true intentions and character. Anyway I think that 50%+ students should stay home, that would send a message........

Bryan: I did a google search and found that there is a lesson plan for those students in junior/senior high.

The decision is ultimately yours, but, in my opinion, we can give perspective at home. It's a double-edged sword, but I don't feel the school is the place for this crap.

Thanks for reading!

Steve: They're prepping them for their "Day of Service" on 9/11. How sickening!

LCR: I get more and more angry every time I think about this. May have to go do some target practice for stress relief!

Bungalow Bill's correct! Don't F with black and gold. I'll come down and give the teachers a can of whoopa$$ myself if they try F$&@ ing with you or your kids. Obama needs to stay the hell out of kids lives. He is starting the indoctrination process
for his brown shirts
and its extremely disturbing sickening :(!!

I don't have any kids yet, but if I did I would definitely be keeping them home on Tuesday.

Hi Sweetie:
I know If I had kids I'd be livid...heck I just have the squirrels and I'm smokin mad.

This POS will stop at nothing! I would keep ALL children home on 9/8 it will send a serious message. Just like the message we'll all send on 9/12 when Patriots gather around the USA to protest the fascist takeover of America!

Glad to see you, hope your net problems fix themselves.

Teresa: Maybe the best strategy would be for me to go to school FOR my kids. Then, let the debate begin!!!

Ain't no messin' with a pissed of B & G Mom!!!

j: We know the public school system has gone belly up a long time ago, but this is just too far over the line. And I will have none of it!!

BOF: I may need to enlist the troops for a black ops mission involving chewing cables within the school walls.

You know what's really sad? I mentioned all this shit to parents at cheerleading tonight, and they looked at me like I was nuts. Most of them hadn't heard of this. A few even tried vehemently denying it. These types of parents are part of the reason this is being allowed into the schools.

For now, the internet probs seem gone, but you never know.

(((hugs)))

Blackandgold,
That sounds like a good idea. At least you'll know exactly what our President said to the kids.

B&Gf, this is an important observation, as a large percentage of our opposition is not the far left [they are] but the multitude of people who remain clueless as to what Obama's agenda is. It is not the far left loons we need to worry about. per se; but the sleeping population that needs to be awakened. Once they are, due to great activists like yourself, I truly think the Democrat party is toast, as are any politicians who refuse to listen to us.

Your anger as a parent is warranted and represents the views of parents across our great nation.
I see you making comments all over the place on the net. Keep up the great work on your blog.

Best regards,
Will

Hi William! Failure of some people to make an informed decision with their vote is a BIG part of why we're in this mess. It's astounding just how many people who failed to learn about the candidates in '08. They voted for the cult of personality, not on the issues. Now they're whining like a set of bad brakes about how disillusioned they are.

I'll check out the link!

Thanks for reading!!! :-D
