While waiting for the bus with Noah and listening to Quinn and Rose (XM 158), Quinn reported a story that seems to be breaking. I didn't catch the source of the piece, but, if this proves to be true, it explains why there seems to be so much troll activity of late.
According to the blurb, Attorney General Eric Holder has hired a group of Democratic campaign bloggers to troll the internet looking for articles and blog posts that disagree with Obama's agenda. Said trolls are then reportedly told to post anonymous comments in support of Dear Leader's wishes. Folks, that means that these people are assumedly getting paid by the Justice Department to be trolls, and their boss is the Attorney General.
How is this legal? I mean, all a troll has to do is report what we're saying and, using taxpayer resources, find out who we are so that appropriate action can be taken. I just had a mental image of Billy Dale and what he endured under the Clinton regime.
I hope that more on this story will be forthcoming soon. For the time being, any anonymous troll comments that appear on your blog could very well be employees of the DOJ and should be treated as such.
Tell them to kiss off.

Holy crap! THis is mind blowing,
be sure to email to big gov't michelle malkin, breitbart.
That explains alot.
I am appalled that our tax money is spent like this.
I can spend all day blogging why I can't stand the libs/obama/the socialist agenda, and I don't get paid a cent!
Off to be tortured by more clueless trolls, pray for me.
I suppose it is legal, but unethical. The best we can do, like the flag@whitehouse.gov, is to bare it to the light of day.
Bunni: I'll have to do that later in the day. Gotta go grocery shopping. I HATE that!
I pray for you every day, BOF!
RG: You are so right. But, if this turns out to be true, what'll come of it? IMO, not a damned thing.
Bring it on Obamapuss! You aren't going to rob me of my free speech regardless of what your liberal scum attorney general does. We will speak out against the oppression.
Somehow with the way this administration has handled criticism and opposition, that doesn't shock me too much. I think there might be a way of combatting this intrusion into our lives, and piss off the DOJ at the same time. Two can play tango- I mean fight back with words, and loads of emails to the DOJ or the White House? But, with Respectful words of dissent.
BB: They may shut me down, but they sure as hell won't shut me UP!
Teresa: The WH & DOJ would only tell you that there's no such thing going on. I may have someone digging further into this. It'd be another nail in the Obama political coffin.
I think this story came out over the weekend, and, frankly, I welcome the trolls. We always have such a fun time tearing their faces off, and an increase in hits is always good.
What Obama does understand is that the people that control the narrative, control what happens. He tried to get Fox News in line. I don't think it worked.
Just waking up this morning and this one goes to the top of the daily Obamanation Abominations. Like Right Guy says, the best thing to do with these guys is show them the light!
Dr. Dave: It's not the trolls that bother me, it's the fact that the DOJ is involved.
RG: So far, Fox has yet to cave. Gotta have balls with as hard as Obamarx and his minions have been on them.
LCR: Just when you think it can't get any worse...
Nobody loves me. I don't get trolls. I think I've had one troll in the past 3 months, and that was our usual troll, the Grey Headed Brother, who I think has trolled each of us in the room at least once with some inane comment or other.
Of course, anonymous comments to my blog are automatically shitcanned. I don't allow them.
And then, too, is the fact that I verbally abuse my detractors like Gunny Hartman from Full Metal Jacket, if I even choose to post their comments at all. I had the guy who sniveled about how great French healthcare was who got shut down with fact after fact after fact and statistics galore, and then the assclown who couldn't see where the carbon was coming from in the carbon dioxide released by the goop used in cash for clunkers. I had to draw him a picture in crayon....
Trolls are always in season and are pretty easy to hit with large-caliber weapons.
Steve: We love you! If you feel left out, I'll troll your site!
I like the way you think, pal! Do you need a license to hunt trolls?
Anyone that comes into your crib is fair game.
RG: Amen to that! Agents Smith and Wesson protect my little slice of Heaven! :-)
I never quite understood why Libs read Con-blogs and listen to Con talk radio and watch Con tv shows....I sure as hell don't waste my time on their dreck & drivel. Why spend so much of your life memorizing the contents of peoples' stuff that you're so diametrically opposed to? What an effing waste of time. They hate us, yet they know everything we talk about...I think they hate themselves, and they want to BE us.
Steve: You have a point. It must be our razor-sharp wit and stunning good looks!
May be they are just masochists or have a insatiable desire to show the world they are idiots. In any case, it can be entertaining.
Nothing screams "entertainment" like an angry troll. They're so friggin' cute when they're pissed!
Saw your post over at Left Coast Rebel. Thanks for following up on this. This administration spends more of our tax dollars working against us than for us.
tcl: It was my pleasure. Any time I can expose these turds for what they really are, I will.
