What If the Author Had Been White?

The Washington Times has done a great job of covering the legal issues concerning the New Black Panther Party (NBPP). I posted the other day about how the DOJ authorized the dismissal of a civil suit against the NBPP for voter intimidation in Philadelphia on election day. While Professor Gates, Daddy O, and all the usual suspects are crying racism over the Cambridge incident, they should be reading this.

WARNING: SOME MAY FIND THIS OFFENSIVE! From the Times:

Disturbing content on New Black Panther's MySpace page

The Department of Justice recently dropped the conviction of Jerry Jackson member of the “New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense” (NBPP). The Washington Times has covered the Black Panther reversal at the Department of Justice revealing,

"Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perelli, No.3 official in the Obama Justice Department, was consulted and ultimately approved a decision in May to reverse course and drop a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party of intimidating voters in Philadelphia during November's election, according to interviews."

It all began when Mr. Jackson stood outside a Philadelphia polling area with Malik Zulu Shabazz and another New Black Panther member during the 2008 presidential election. They later faced charges for intimidating voters on November 4th, 2008. Appointed to be a poll watcher in 2008 for the Democratic Party and the Obama campaign, Mr. Jackson is also an elected member of Philadelphia's 14th Ward Democratic Committee.

The NBPP member has not stayed away from expressing his views on a social media site like MySpace. Mr. Jackson's(WARNING DISTURBING CONTENT) MySpace site is chock full of disturbing images with explicit racial overtones. A sample of some of the phrases and images on his MySpace page include:

"BLACK POWER,BLACK LOVE,BLACK UNITY,BLACK MINDS,KILLIN CRAKKKAS"

"F*** Whitey's Christmas"

An image of an execution scene from the cult hit film "Pulp Fiction"

A photo of a man holding a sign saying, "DEPORT WHITE PEOPLE"

A derogatory anti-cop poster titled "BEWARE OF PIG"

An image of Saddam Hussein before his execution

A photo of a cop sitting next to a black child in a toy car. Beneath the image the phrase "Racial Profiling: It Starts Early"

A photoshopped movie poster of the "Bourne Supremacy" is re-worded to say "The Bourne White Supremacy" A swastika is added to Matt Damon's cheek, and the scope of his firearm is photoshopped to look as if he is about to shoot a black man. The "n" word is used to describe who "Matt Damon hates" in this movie poster. The phrase, "They should have just stayed in Africa" is photoshopped at the top of the image.

It is hard to believe such web content is coming from an elected party official in Philadelphia, yet Mr. Jackson has been appointed again to be a poll watcher for the upcoming Democratic Primary in Philadelphia's municipal election. Mr. Obama may think a White House "beer summit" will help smooth over racial ills, but his justice department is doing the country no favors when they give Jerry Jackson and Malik Zulu Shabazz a free pass.

Update 10:00pm: Mr. Jackson's MySpace page has been removed. A cached version is available through the link now.

Update 11:00pm: description of The Bourne Supremacy poster has been re-worded to show further detail.

Update July 31, 2009 10:30 am: The Washington Times Editorial page has come out with new information about the Justice Department's cover up in the New Black Panther Case, and Washington Times reporter Jerry Seper is writing that lawmakers on the Hill are wanting to take a second look into the panther case.

Remember all the hoopla over the Sonia Sotomayor cartoon depicting her as a pinata? Cries of racism assaulted the airwaves for days. Why are these racist scum given a pass? If it's because of their skin color, that in and of itself is racist. Dear Leader keeps proving who he REALLY is more and more.

I guess he DID learn something in Reverend Wright's church!

Racism: It's Not Just for the Klan Anymore

Foxnews.com is reporting that the Number 3 official at the Justice Department, Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, approved the reversal of a civil complaint filed against the New Black Panther Party and three of its members.

From the Washington Times:

EXCLUSIVE: No. 3 at Justice OK'd Panther reversal

Case involved polling place in Philadelphia

EXCLUSIVE:

Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, the No. 3 official in the Obama Justice Department, was consulted and ultimately approved a decision in May to reverse course and drop a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party of intimidating voters in Philadelphia during November's election, according to interviews.

The department's career lawyers in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division who pursued the complaint for five months had recommended that Justice seek sanctions against the party and three of its members after the government had already won a default judgment in federal court against the men.

Front-line lawyers were in the final stages of completing that work when they were unexpectedly told by their superiors in late April to seek a delay after a meeting between political appointees and career supervisors, according to federal records and interviews.

The delay was ordered by then-acting Assistant Attorney General Loretta King after she discussed with Mr. Perrelli concerns about the case during one of their regular review meetings, according to the interviews.

Ms. King, a career senior executive service official, had been named by President Obama in January to temporarily fill the vacant political position of assistant attorney general for civil rights while a permanent choice could be made.

She and other career supervisors ultimately recommended dropping the case against two of the men and the party and seeking a restraining order against the one man who wielded a nightstick at the Philadelphia polling place. Mr. Perrelli approved that plan, officials said.

Let's play the hypothetical situation here. Suppose that the Ku Klux Klan (of whom I do NOT agree with) had done this. The usual race-card playing characters would've been all over this. I'm now including Dear Leader in that group. He has done just as much to keep racism in this country alive as racists of either color.

Are there those in this country who are racist? Yep. But it seems like the only racism ever pointed out is that of whites. There are blacks who are equally racist, but they are always being defended by the "compassionate left". WRONG KNOWS NO COLOR!!!

We have blacks in this country calling for separate dorms on colleges, separate this and separate that, yet no one bothers to point out their racism. Why? Oh...I forgot. This is retribution to the white population for all the years of oppression. It makes me sick to hear racial superiority from EITHER race, but it sickens me more to see the double standard that has come into play.

During the Ruby Ridge incident, Randy Weaver was lambasted for being a white separatist. Why are those in the black community not held to the same standard? There are many neighborhoods in this country where whites are not welcome and risk bodily harm should they accidently find themselves in such neighborhoods. But let a predominantly white neighborhood treat blacks the same way, and you've got yourself a race riot with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton leading the troops. Why?

We have the Miss America and Miss USA pageants, both of which blacks are allowed to compete (as well they should). Why is there the need, then, for a Miss Black USA or Miss Black America pageant where whites are NOT allowed to compete? It's not right.

The double standard needs to be fought against. Those who believe in right and wrong are color-blind, and we should not be intimidated into sitting idly by while the left continues to divide.
