Letterman Disses Palin; Palin: 'Pathetic'

On Monday night's "Late Night With David Letterman", Dave's Top Ten list was "highlights of Sarah Palin's trip to New York". Sarah was in town over the weekend to speak at and participate in a walk for the group Autism Speaks, a group advocating support and research into autism, a developmental disorder with no cure. On his list? The number two slot was “bought makeup at Bloomingdale’s to update her ‘slutty flight attendant’ look.” How classy, you twit. Let's just forget about the true reason she was there. Hey! The president made his "Special Olympics" comment on Leno, so it must be ok to poke fun at and ignore those who face challenges in this life.

In an interview she gave Tuesday to John Ziegler, a conservative LA-based radio host, Palin said, “That’s pretty pathetic, good ole David Letterman.”

Sarah has shown that she is quite capable of being humorous without Davey-boy's help. Her "Hockey Mom/Pit Bull" comment became one of the things that helped endear her to so many people. And do I need to mention her appearance on Saturday Night Live? My personal favorite part of that show was her appearance on "Weekend Update", SNL's news satire segment.

Sarah's ability to make light of what is a grueling ordeal (political campaign) proves she can be down to earth. Unlike Barry who prefers up in the clouds.

It's pretty sad when NBC overlooks you Mr. Letterman. They are the network of Olbermann after all.

I used to really enjoy Letterman over Leno, but now I have even less than zero respect for him, RK.

Letterman shows he quickly forgot his Hoosier values when he left for NYC.

I second that emotion, Bill!

I saw your posting over on LCR's blog,You said blogging is hard work. You are right. Blogging is alot of hard work and requires hours of study and dedication. honestly though, when it starts to take off and becomes successful as KOOK's Manifesto is for me, it is worth every minute. I joined forces with KOOK (Keeper of odd Knowledge) because we found we are like minded in both writing style and political views. I suggest finding a niche and put personality into your blog. KOOK does his rants, and I am sort of his "sideKOOK". I use my various areas of study such as history, environmental sciences, politics and religion and add a bit of humor. I found that by blogging as though I am in the room with my readers, I get much better responses. Commenting on other peoples' blogs helps get you readers too. I've looked at your blog and read some of your posts and I think you will do just fine. It takes time to build up followers. Remember that they are what it is all about. I joined forces with KOOK (Keeper of odd Knowledge) because we found we are like minded in both writing style and political views. LCR became a member of our blog today. When folks become members at our blog, I always visit their blog and chat with them a bit. Political views are important but people are the real reason for blogging. The successful bloggers always remember that and usually reply to comments. Joining with KOOK helped because we can share the workload as a team. We live in different parts of the country so we can each do local stuff that by ourselves wouldn't work. I don't know that joining forces is for everyone but it has been a total blessing for me. I got it easy too because he had his blog for a while before I joined. I had only blogged for about 2 months before we crossed paths. Now I consider KOOK a good friend and yet we've never met. B&G, you are welcome at KOOKs manifesto anytime. We want thinkers and good honest debate and I saw that on your blog.

I am a Christian and will never use inappropriate language. The cat that is my Avatar is an Asian Leopard named Keemo. She is my sidekick and is always here when I am blogging.
