The Pens were just shut out 5-0 in game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals. As a Pens fan, I'm disappointed in the loss, but even more disappointed in the lack of sportsmanship by the Penguins.
Numerous cross-checking, slashing, and fighting penalties were racked up by Pittsburgh. These were penalties that didn't need to happen, and you can't allow Detroit as many power plays as Pittsburgh did, especially with Datsyuk back on the ice.
I understand the frustration when you're behind in the score, but come on guys. Have a little more class than to go taking unnecessary and cheap shots.
Game 6 is Tuesday night back at the Igloo.
