I apologize for taking so many posts to do this in, but there are sooooo many earmarks! Don't forget, either, that there are over 400 members of the House. It takes time to organize all of these.
In doing today's list, I've noticed more Republicans popping up. Although only 8 voted FOR cap and trade, the others must have decided to get their pet projects in while being able to say they voted against this crap.
I do need to make a correction on one member's list. John Lewis (D-GA) did not earmark for the Fort Valley Utility Commission's wastewater reclamation facility. He did, however co-sponsor an earmark for the city of Atlanta's sewer system infrastructure improvements. It was still a $500,000 dip into your pocket.
Again: *=co-sponsored earmark [PD]=Presidentially-directed earmark

Yeah...this pork has to a lot to do with energy.
Most of these pukes, Republican or Democrat, are despicable, particularly those padding in pork and then voting against the bill. That's how DC works. And that's why we should throw the lot of them (well, most of them) out in 2010.
As for training camp, I'm about 13 hours south of Le-trobe these days, and my trip north this August will be to the other side of the state, where my parents live, but, as always, I'll be there in spirit.
Dr. Dave: As I do these, I'm starting to see the hypocrisy coming from the Republicans as well as the Democrats. It makes me sick!
I just got off the phone with my mom, and she said "I thought you had to go to prison to be raped in the a**!" No wonder I love her so much!
I'll take pics from Latrobe so you can share the experience. :-D
Go after those lost Republicans who forgot about limited government! They need to go to. After all, it's not about Republicans or Democrats, its about conservativism over moderates and liberals.
Amen, Clay!
To have their hand out while trumpeting the fact that they voted against c & t is political pandering at its finest.
It all boils down to one issue: one's love for their country. And I love mine too much to let it go to hell in a handbasket.
I got about halfway through, decided I'd rather read something less disturbing but didn't quite manage to avert my eyes. It's like watching a train-wreck, I cry... I wipe my eyes, I see the list again and I cry a little bit more. Very hard chain of events.
Young American: I know. It's a disgrace what's happened here.
