Here's the list for today, kids. There are Republicans on the list. Of the three Republicans on today's list, only one, Chris Smith (R-NJ) is one of the Republican 8. I guess the other ones decided to stuff their earmarks in realizing that they could have it both ways: Satisfy the constituency while voting against cap and trade. BUSTED!!!

What is a wet weather demonstration project? One thing is for sure about earmarks, when it rains, it pours. I wonder if that's the connection.
Clay: I get visions of an Indian rain dance when I see that. And, remember, this is just the House Interior Appropriations. I've yet to see the Homeland Security Appropriations!
BB, rain comment is especially true here where I live.
Some Republicans are stuffing crazy earmarks into the bill to scare moderate Dems away from it. Still, I believe that such tactics are wrong and can backfire. Such Republicans are not smart enough to debate the bill on it's merits.
May I conclude your comment with "...and shouldn't be anywhere NEAR Capitol Hill."
Thanks, Joel!!!
what great research..thank u!
Still got more coming, Angel! This is just Interior Appropriations. Haven't started on DHS Appropriations.
I wonder if the people of Bozemen, MT are going to write thank you latters to the 300 plus million people who don't live in Montana and wound up paying for their mainstreet restoration? Couldn't they have voted on a sales tax inititiative or something instead of making the rest of the states pay? By the way, it's not just Bozeman that is guilty of this. They just happen to be the list tonight.
Clay: (bad Clinton impersonation) I feel your pain.
You're right. This is the inmates running the asylum. I can't wait until the Dem healthcare plan is released. I'll put every single piece of pork up here! Bribery for votes on this crap...pure and simple.
Astounding job i came over from Clay's place
Welcome, Mel and thanks for stopping. I hope to see more of you here and at all my other cyberhaunts. I'll have more of these lists coming, so please be patient! :-D
Thanks for posting this -- though it isn't the first time Mike Rogers has stuffed in some pork, voted against the final product, then taken credit for bringing home the bacon.

Liberals and conservatives can agree: hypocrisy isn't pretty!
Kelster: Thanks for stopping! It makes my blood boil to see that they have no problem being so two-faced. Both parties have been guilty of hypocrisy, and the American people have every right to be outraged. I hope by posting these that people will get angry enough to say "WE THE PEOPLE should dictate how our money should be spent."
I didn't realize that this wasn't the first time Mike Rogers has done this. Thanks for the info! He needs to be given his pink slip.
Hope to see you again!
