Before sitting on the Nobel Committee, Thorbjorn Jagland ( photo -- you'll say "jagoff" after reading about this guy) served as Prime Minister of Norway (1996-1997) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2000-2001). On October 1, Mr. Jagland began his tenure as president of the Council of Europe. This group has what is called "observer status" within the United Nations but is often represented within the UN General Assembly.
The most interesting factoid about Thorbjorn Jagland is that for 10 years, he served as vice-president of Socialist International, a group of liberal organizations who are just to the left of Chairman Mao. This group has "consultative status" within the United Nations.
The agenda of Socialist International? Let's see....the abolition of an "armed peace", meaning that they want no nation to be armed in times of peace (especially "superpowers")...."internationalization of the economy", i.e. one-world currency.... Do I really need to go on? I don't think so.
SI has membership groups from almost every country in the world, including the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). DSA established a group called the Chicago "New Party" (NP) and endorsed BHO in his fledgling political career. In fact, BHO signed a contract with the NP, thereby becoming a member of the DSA by default. Starting to see a connection?
From an archived NewsBusters article:
Yet more proof of Obama's close involvement in the socialist New Party from NewsBusters' Hermano who provided this link to the Chicago Democratic Socialists of American September-October 1995 New Ground 42 edition:
Okay...this is what we have so far. The president of the Nobel Committe is a former vice-president of Socialist International. SI is the global group whose members include the Democratic Socialists of America. The DSA heads the Chicago New Party. Barack Obama is a member of the NP. Got it so far? Good. I'm not done yet.About 50 activists attended the Chicago New Party membership meeting in July. The purpose of the meeting was to update members on local activities and to hear appeals for NP support from four potential political candidates. The NP is being very active in organization building and politics. There are 300 members in Chicago. In order to build an organizational and financial base the NP is sponsoring house parties. Locally it has been successful both fiscally and in building a grassroots base. Nationwide it has resulted in 1000 people committed to monthly contributions. The NP's political strategy is to support progressive candidates in elections only if they have a concrete chance to "win". This has resulted in a winning ratio of 77 of 110 elections. Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.
The political entourage included Alderman Michael Chandler, William Delgado, chief of staff for State Rep Miguel del Valle, and spokespersons for State Sen. Alice Palmer, Sonya Sanchez, chief of staff for State Sen. Jesse Garcia, who is running for State Rep in Garcia's District; and Barack Obama, chief of staff for State Sen. Alice Palmer. Obama is running for Palmer's vacant seat.
If you remember, Dear Leader became the first American president to chair the United Nations Security Council and spent some time addressing the General Assembly back in September. Who has "observer status" within the UN but is still represented in the General Assembly? That's right...the Council of Europe. Who took power of the Council of Europe just before the Peace Prize was awarded? Yep. Thorbjorn Jagland, president of the Nobel Committee and global socialist. I could keep going in circles, but my brain would melt.
While all of this seems like a co-inky-dink, I'm not convinced that it is. The global lefties are hell bent on turning the entire world into a frickin' socialist utopia. We've seen this in recent months time and again, and they're poised to strike again in a few weeks in Copenhagen in the name of environmentalism. These are the people BHO has insulated himself with over many years, and you know what they say about birds of a feather...
I love playing Connect-the-Dots!!!!

I think you did a great job of connecting the dots. It makes all the sense in the world after reading your blog. I would make sure Hans sees this one. This story needs to be told.
By the way, conspiracy nuts aren't so crazy. All that new world order stuff is coming true.
Thanks, BB! I was going to email Hans after I got back this morning. I also put it up on Free Republic.
You do an excellent job of connecting the dots. I figured that there were ulterior motives, or a hidden agenda behind giving Obambi the Nobel Peace Prize. They are such a bunch of Marxist gangstas' who are trying to take away our freedom and liberty every day.
Some of the conspiracies are just way too far out there, but some are just on the fringes and needed some verification in order to prove that they are in fact a reality.
Thanks, Teresa! I know some stuff is REALLY far out there, but you're right when you say some of it is just under the surface.
Hope all is well, hon!
crap. I liked it better when I thought I was nuts.
what a tangled web. But at least we are learning the players.
Thanks, Ran. I appreciate it.
KOOK: No worries, pal. We know you're nuts, and that's all that matters. :-D
It gets really mind-boggling the more you peel away the layers of anything this administration does.
Nice job. And I just thought he entered into a contract with the Nobel committee that he'd put down America 10 times a day, make friends with dictators, and transform the USA the next European Union.
BTW...new handle on Twitter due to some continuing shenanigans from Chairman Zero's buttlickers. Check your followers. You'll know exactly which one I am.
