Not the BEST song they ever did, I always found myself enjoying this song. Seemed to have a calming effect on me for some reason. Happy Friday and Happy Weekend everyone!
I've been a Moody Blues head since the 1960's, and this one 'Wildest Dreams' is not their best stuff by any means. It was a comeback tune that cracked the Top 40 well after their heydays, but never reached the levels of "Tuesday Afternoon" and "Knights in White Satin."
Their album, 'Days of Future Past,' featuring the London Symphony Orchestra was a masterpiece, much like Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon.'
We'll not see that kind of brilliance any time soon.

It's the only song I ever liked of theirs and that's not saying much.
It got to me a bit as when it came out I was working away for extended periods, and it seemed to go with missing family.
Love, love, love The Moody Blues. I had never seen this video. Thanks for posting!
FYI...they are touring this summer
