EEOC Czar Nominee: Gay Sex Morally Good

Here comes the next radical "czar." Right now, Chai Feldblum is just the nominee to head up the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Should she get the job, she will help shape the criteria for hiring and firing practices across the country.

From World Net Daily:

"Gay sex is morally good," she said. "Now you may think that might be a little crazy to go out there and say gay sex is good. But think a second. Society definitely believes that heterosexual sex is good. Right. Heterosexual sex within a certain framework – marriage – I mean, you can't get more dewy-eyed and romantic in this society about how wonderful that is."

Continued Feldblum: "If you're not being cynical for the moment, I think that does reflect a correct understanding that sex is often a basic building block for intimacy and that intimacy and connections within couples and within families are integral building blocks for a healthy society."

Ms. Feldblum has quite an impressive liberal resume. An outspoken gay activist, she is currently a Georgetown law professor and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, the author of the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion. Chai has also served as legislative counsel to the AIDS Project for the ACLU. Wow! No wonder Obama wants her constructing policy in reference to hiring and firing! But there won't be any special mandates for businesses to hire gays, will there? I mean, the militant gay movement wouldn't push for that, would they?

At a UCLA symposium, Feldblum made no bones about her wish to "revolutionize" the American workplace and American social mores. Since when is changing society's mores the job of the EEOC Commissioner? Isn't that up to the American people? I guess with this administration they just make up the rules as they go along.

Workplace Flexibility 2010 is co-directed by Ms. Feldblum. It's touted as a homosexual rights group that shares the same vision as Feldblum., and I'm sure the other directors are in lockstep with her.

"This is a war that needs to be fought, and it's not a war overseas where we are killing people in the name of liberating them. It is a war right here at home where we need to convince people that morality demands full equality for gay people," she said at the symposium.

Did I miss the Constitutional provision that doesn't give gays equal rights under the law? I may have to get out my pocket Constitution and reread it. I could swear that gays share the same Constitutional rights as all American citizens. Unfortunately, I get the sinking feeling that they want SPECIAL rights. Maybe it's my homophobia showing. Since I'm a racist for not agreeing with BHO's policies, I may as well be a homophobe for disagreeing with conferring special rights on a group of people.

I'm going to end this with Chai Feldblum in her own words. PLEASE view it and decide for yourself whether this woman should have the authority to dictate to Christian business owners that they must hire people whose lifestyle they don't agree with.

'Safe Schools Czar' Gushes Over NAMBLA-Supporting Pedophile

Recently, I did a post about Kevin Jennings, the Obama administration's 'Safe Schools Czar.' The former teacher and gay activist has shown his true colors over the years by not revealing the fact that a 15-year-old student of his was having sex with older men and by pushing for schools to implement a curriculum that teaches tolerance and acceptance of gays.

Now, according to World Net Daily, it has come to light that Jennings has had nothing but praise for NAMBLA founder Harry Hay who passed away in 2002.

In a 1997 speech, Jennings is quoted as saying, "One of the people that's always inspired me is Harry Hay, who started the first ongoing gay rights groups in America. In 1948, he tried to get people to join the Mattachine Society. It took him two years to find one other person who would join."

"Well, [in] 1993," Jennings continued, "Harry Hay marched with a million people in Washington, who thought he had a good idea 40 years before."

Hay started the Mattachine Society in 1948 to advocate for homosexual rights and later founded the Radical Faeries to continue his work. Harry Hay was also a long-time supporter of NAMBLA, the North American Man Boy Love Association, a group that endorses sexual relations between adult men and young boys. Hay advocated for the removal of all age-of-consent laws in this country to allow young men to be preyed upon by older men.

In a 1983 speech to NAMBLA, Hay said "I also would like to say at this point that it seems to me that in the gay community the people who should be running interference for NAMBLA are the parents and friends of gays. Because if the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what thirteen-, fourteen-, and fifteen-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world. And they would be welcoming this, and welcoming the opportunity for young gay kids to have the kind of experience that they would need."

This is the same man our 'Safe Schools Czar' "admires".

Jennings gave a speech in 1995 outlining his intention to manipulate the English language to get what he wanted when promoting the gay agenda in schools. Instead of approaching the subject directly, the current 'Safe Schools Czar' decided to approach it from a "safety" angle.

"If the radical right can succeed in portraying us as preying on children, we will lose. Their language – 'promoting homosexuality' is one example – is laced with subtle and not-so-subtle innuendo that we are 'after their kids.'

In Massachusetts the effective reframing of this issue was the key to the success of the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth. We immediately seized upon the opponent's calling card – safety – and explained how homophobia represents a threat to students' safety by creating a climate where violence, name-calling, health problems, and suicide are common. Titling our report 'Making Schools Safe for Gay and Lesbian Youth,' we automatically threw our opponents onto the defensive and stole their best line of attack. This framing short-circuited their arguments and left them back-pedaling from day one."

What happens behind closed doors between two consenting adults is none of my business, but where do the gay activists feel it is their place to teach our kids about homosexuality? Last time I looked, it was still the job of the parents to do so if they choose.

Mr. Jennings should be getting the Van Jones treatment for radical lunacy. Instead, I have yet to hear one peep from even Fox News. Now if this had been a pastor pushing for prayer in public school, the left would never let it go until he was exiled to the far reaches of Antarctica.

Education decisions belong in the hands of parents, not NAMBLA.

UPDATE: October 6, 2009 -- Thanks to my BOF (best online friend) Bunni for the link to this. Jennings actually criticizes schools for promoting heterosexuality. Perish the thought!!!

Meet the 'Safe Schools Czar'

Kevin Jennings, the "Safe Schools Czar" appointed by BHO, has a radical past (surprise...not) of promoting homosexuality in schools, drug use, and contempt for religion. He also wrote at one time of an underage student who had told Jennings that he was having sex with older men. Jennings did not report the incident.

In 1990, as a teacher in Massachusetts, he founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at schools nationwide. He has also published six books on gay rights and education, including one that describes his own experiences as a closeted gay student.

"Jennings was obviously chosen for this job because of the safe schools aspect... defining 'safe schools' narrowly in terms of 'safe for homosexuality'," Peter Sprigg, a senior fellow at the Family Research Council, told FOXNews.com.

"But at least half of the job involves creating drug-free schools, and we've not been offered any evidence about what qualifications Jennings has for promoting drug-free schools."

In fact, in his 2007 autobiography "Mama's Boy, Preacher's Son: A Memoir," Jennings talks extensively of his drug use during his high school years in the early 1980's.

"I got stoned more often and went out to the beach at Bellows, overlooking Honolulu Harbor and the lights of the city, to drink with my buddies on Friday and Saturday nights, spending hours watching the planes take off and land at the airport, which is actually quite fascinating when you are drunk and stoned."

While I'm not throwing stones here, I will be the first to speak out against drug use. Experience has taught me that it's just not the thing to do. Jennings has largely remained silent on the issue since his book was published.

Liberal groups have said that the revelation of these facts by those on the right are nothing more than a smear campaign. Here we go again...

In 1997, according to a transcript put together by Brian J. Burt, managing editor of the student-run Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, Jennings said he hoped that promoting homosexuality in schools would be considered fine in the future.

"One of our board members" was called to testify before Congress when they had hearings on the promotion of homosexuality in schools," Jennings said. "And we were busy putting out press releases, and saying, "We're not promoting homosexuality, that's not what our program's about. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.... '

"Being finished might someday mean that most straight people, when they would hear that someone was promoting homosexuality, would say 'Yeah, who cares?' because they wouldn't necessarily equate homosexuality with something bad that you would not want to promote."

In 2000, GLSEN co-sponsored a conference along with the Massachusetts Department of Education. It was revealed that there were some pretty graphic and unorthodox sex techniques being discussed with kids. The following is a quote made by a state official who had been talking to teenagers.

"Fisting (forcing one's entire hand into another person's rectum or vagina) often gets a bad rap....[It's] an experience of letting somebody into your body that you want to be that close and intimate with...[and] to put you into an exploratory mode."

I'm not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but could someone tell me how this is an appropriate topic to be discussing with teens at an educational conference? I'd make a safe bet that my 21-year-old doesn't even know what that is. Or maybe I'm just in denial.

On the topic of religion, Mr. Jennings wrote in his memoir:

"What had [God] done for me, other than make me feel shame and guilt? Squat. Screw you, buddy -- I don't need you around anymore, I decided.

"The Baptist Church had left me only a legacy of self-hatred, shame, and disappointment, and I wanted no more of it or its Father. The long erosion of my faith was now complete, and I, for many years, reacted violently to anyone who professed any kind of religion. Decades passed before I opened a Bible again."

He since claims that he is now involved with the Union Theological Seminary, which describes itself as "progressive and evangelical." Jennings also claims that he considers himself a religious person. Of course he does now that he can't be seen as anti-religion.

In 1994, Jennings wrote a book titled "One Teacher in 10" in which he tells the story of a sophomore named Brewster who had told Jennings of being involved with older men.

"Out spilled a story about his involvement with an older man he had met in Boston. I listened, sympathized, and offered advice. He left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't teachers required to report the sexual abuse and exploitation of minors? Even if there's no legal issue compelling teachers to do so, they should at least be ethical enough report such incidents.

So there it is. The new "Safe Schools Czar" is a man who, at least in some respects, advocates pushing homosexuality in the schools and has little regard for religion. On top of that, he failed in his duty to report possible sexual abuse of a minor.

Don't you feel even better about sending your kids to school now?

Van Jones: In His Own Words

As you watch these, ask yourself this question: Why the hell is this man allowed anywhere NEAR a government office???

Here a Czar, There a Czar, Everywhere a Czar Czar...

SACP symbol

The Obama administration continues to skirt the legislative confirmation process by appointing "czars". How appropriate coming from a Communist. Yes, czars have been in use by both parties for decades, but every time we turn around, Barry is appointing someone to advance his Socialist/Marxist/Communist agenda without having to be confirmed by Congress. The count is now up to 33.

What can these people do that their confirmed counterparts can't? Why do they have to have their posts specifically created by the almighty Leader? This morning on Fox & Friends, an interesting fact was brought up: Russia had 18 czars in 300 years. Barry wasn't about to be outdone.

We get bits and pieces about the newest "czar" only when the MSM deems it worthy of letting Americans know. We know about Feinberg, but here are some I didn't even know were in existence. The list comes from Investor's Business Daily.

  • Green jobs czar. This post is held by Van Jones. Officially he is Obama's special adviser for enterprise and innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

Jones was a founder and leader of Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement. The group, now disbanded, had Marxist, Leninist and Maoist influences.

Jones admitted that he became a communist and radical after the officers accused of using excessive force on Rodney King were acquitted. He's supposedly a reformed anti-capitalist, but not everyone is convinced.

• TARP czar. Herb Allison is assistant secretary of the Treasury for financial stability. There's nothing alarming in his background, but there should be concerns about the position he's filling.

• Great Lakes czar. Cameron Davis is a special adviser overseeing the EPA's Great Lakes restoration plan. He's president of the Chicago-based Alliance for the Great Lakes conservation group.

• Science czar. John Holdren is an ideologue who frets over global warming (junk science) and is a pessimist (in 1980 he thought the world was running out of natural resources) and misanthrope (he's favored population control).

• Climate czar. Before Todd Stern was appointed, he was a senior fellow at the left-wing Center for American Progress. His empty rhetoric on global warming can hardly be distinguished from that of Al Gore.

• Car czar. Ed Montgomery, a University of Maryland dean, economist and a Labor Department deputy secretary in the Clinton administration, is director of recovery for auto communities and workers. He's no raving leftist, but he is discharging a duty the government should never have.

• Guantanamo closure czar. Danny Fried has the duty of overseeing the closure of the military detention center at Guantanamo Bay. The longtime diplomat has to navigate the fulfillment of Obama's promise to shut down Gitmo, a promise that helped get Obama elected but was always foolish.

• Faith-based czar. Dare we say that Joshua DuBois, director of the Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, is a community organizer? The 26-year-old pastor worked for Democratic Congressmen Rush Holt of New Jersey and Charles Rangel of New York.

• Urban affairs Czar. The White House has a director of urban affairs — Adolfo Carrion Jr. — but no czar for rural affairs. What does that say about how this administration values country folks?

• Regulatory czar. Obama wants to fill this post with Cass Sunstein, the Harvard law professor who has suggested "that animals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives," against people in our civil court system. Sunstein would likely do a fine job of regulating the country into paralysis.

The checks and balances set forth by the Founders have been voided and thrown off balance. Time to get back to the principles that worked so well for all these years.

Where's the "czar" to protect the Constitution?

Czar Crazy: Here's Another One

U.S. News and World Report online has reported yet another "czar" position has been created. This one is to battle domestic violence against women. Joe Biden got the honor of making the announcement. As per USN&WR:

Vice President Biden announced today that Lynn Rosenthal will be the White House adviser on Violence Against Women, a new position created to work with the president and vice president on domestic violence and sexual assault issues...Rosenthal most recently served as the executive director of the New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence and has focused on domestic violence issues like housing, state and local coordinated community response, federal policy, and survivor-centered advocacy.

While domestic violence in any form, whether it's men on women or women on men, is abhorrent, is this really an issue for the federal government? They're repealing the Tenth Amendment layer by layer. Jeez!!!

This list of "czars" just keeps growing at exponential rates.

There's a drug czar, a U.S. border czar, an urban czar, a regulatory czar, a stimulus accountability czar, an Iran czar, a Middle East czar, and a czar for both Afghanistan and Pakistan, which in Washington-speak has been lumped together into a policy area called Af-Pak.

There are upward of 20 such top officials, all with lengthy official titles but known in the media as czars, and next week there will be one more, when Obama appoints a czar for cyber-security who will be charged with improving the security of computer networks.

And that list of 20 came out before the following appointment was made earlier this month:

President Barack Obama recently introduced Kenneth Feinberg as America's "compensation czar." He'll oversee executive pay at firms that have taken federal bailout money. Feinberg "will have broad discretion to set the salaries and bonuses for their five most senior executives and their 20 most highly paid employees," The New York Times reported.

This is the most blatant power grab we have yet to see. And I don't foresee things getting much better. I hope I'm wrong.

Meet the New "Pay Czar"

Fox News is reporting that Kenneth Feinberg has been tapped by Obamarx to be the new pay czar for the Treasury Department. His job will be to oversee that executives working for companies receiving bailout money are abiding by the executive-pay guidelines set to be released next week.

Feinberg oversaw the distribution of the compensation fund for the victims of the 9/11 attacks. And we all know how that went. Insensitive and greedy people were filing false claims just to get a piece of the pie. Way to oversee that the money went for those who were supposed to get it, Kenny!!

All this talk of a "czar" for this and a "czar" for that is scary. What's next? A compliance czar? You know, someone to make sure that we are all in compliance with the wishes of our president. This is just an end run around the Constitution by the Obamarx administration. By appointing a "czar" for whatever his cold, dark heart desires, he doesn't have to wait for Congress to approve his actions.

I think I hear the faint goosesteps of the coming brown shirts.
