Jennings Helps Fund ACT UP Exhibit at Harvard

'Safe School Czar' Kevin Jennings has helped fund an ACT UP! exhibit open through December 23 at Harvard University. The exhibit is filled with anti-Catholic and pornographic displays at Harvard's Carpenter Center for Visual Arts. A paragraph from the program at the exhibit shows that Jennings condones this.



Jennings, a former member of the radical homosexual activist group founded by Larry Kramer, made a donation to help support the exhibit. While it is his prerogative as to what he does with his money, it speaks volumes about what he thinks about those of us on the right and what he wishes our children to learn about homosexuality.

MassResistance has posted some of the things that are on display at what is supposed to be one of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the country. I personally find them so offensive that I will not post them here, although I do encourage you to view at least some of the items on display so as to be informed. I will warn you. The images are EXTREMELY graphic and offensive. This is the tamest one on MassResistance's site.



The picture depicts Cardinal O'Connor with a condom with the phrase "This one prevents AIDS" under the condom. Real nice, huh?

Here are some of the activities that ACT UP! have been involved in during the late 1980's and early 1990's:

• Demonstrated outside the Boston’s Cathedral of the Holy Cross to protest Cardinal Law's opposition to Mayor Flynn's proposed needle-exchange program and condom education (1988).

• Staged a "die in" at Mass. General Hospital in March to protest the unavailability of PCP drug AP.

• Protested Astra Pharmaceutical Products’ refusal to release the experimental antiviral drug Foscarnet.

• Disrupted opening night at the San Francisco Opera.

• Protested design of clinical trials planned by Harvard School of Medicine.

• Jammed phone lines of health insurance database company protesting their use of "sexual deviation" classification.

• Halted Boston’s trolley service and traffic in front of Harvard School of Public Health to press the federal government into approving two new AIDS drugs.

Hey, I'm all for decrying discrimination. But where is the tolerance within the gay community for those of us who may not agree with their radical agenda? We hear the stories of gays being targeted for simply being gay, but what about a gay who rapes or targets a straight? Why don't we ever hear stories about that? And don't tell me it never happens. I'd bet my mortgage that it does. In any case, wrong is wrong.

The militant gay community needs to realize one thing. We here on the right are not discriminating against anyone. We hate the sin (if we so believe) but love the sinner. They enjoy every Constitutional right we all do. To bestow a special set of rules on one group because of lifestyle is anti-Constitutional. What would be next? Special civil rights for those who enjoy raping or murdering other human beings because they enjoy it? The slippery slope will have been created.

The question remains: Does Kevin Jennings belong anywhere near the office that helps form public education policy when he supports this? HELL NO!!! He needs to be gone. The sooner the better.

EEOC Czar Nominee: Gay Sex Morally Good

Here comes the next radical "czar." Right now, Chai Feldblum is just the nominee to head up the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Should she get the job, she will help shape the criteria for hiring and firing practices across the country.

"Gay sex is morally good," she said. "Now you may think that might be a little crazy to go out there and say gay sex is good. But think a second. Society definitely believes that heterosexual sex is good. Right. Heterosexual sex within a certain framework – marriage – I mean, you can't get more dewy-eyed and romantic in this society about how wonderful that is."

Continued Feldblum: "If you're not being cynical for the moment, I think that does reflect a correct understanding that sex is often a basic building block for intimacy and that intimacy and connections within couples and within families are integral building blocks for a healthy society."

Ms. Feldblum has quite an impressive liberal resume. An outspoken gay activist, she is currently a Georgetown law professor and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, the author of the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion. Chai has also served as legislative counsel to the AIDS Project for the ACLU. Wow! No wonder Obama wants her constructing policy in reference to hiring and firing! But there won't be any special mandates for businesses to hire gays, will there? I mean, the militant gay movement wouldn't push for that, would they?

At a UCLA symposium, Feldblum made no bones about her wish to "revolutionize" the American workplace and American social mores. Since when is changing society's mores the job of the EEOC Commissioner? Isn't that up to the American people? I guess with this administration they just make up the rules as they go along.

Workplace Flexibility 2010 is co-directed by Ms. Feldblum. It's touted as a homosexual rights group that shares the same vision as Feldblum., and I'm sure the other directors are in lockstep with her.

"This is a war that needs to be fought, and it's not a war overseas where we are killing people in the name of liberating them. It is a war right here at home where we need to convince people that morality demands full equality for gay people," she said at the symposium.

Did I miss the Constitutional provision that doesn't give gays equal rights under the law? I may have to get out my pocket Constitution and reread it. I could swear that gays share the same Constitutional rights as all American citizens. Unfortunately, I get the sinking feeling that they want SPECIAL rights. Maybe it's my homophobia showing. Since I'm a racist for not agreeing with BHO's policies, I may as well be a homophobe for disagreeing with conferring special rights on a group of people.

I'm going to end this with Chai Feldblum in her own words. PLEASE view it and decide for yourself whether this woman should have the authority to dictate to Christian business owners that they must hire people whose lifestyle they don't agree with.

'Safe Schools Czar' Gushes Over NAMBLA-Supporting Pedophile

Recently, I did a post about Kevin Jennings, the Obama administration's 'Safe Schools Czar.' The former teacher and gay activist has shown his true colors over the years by not revealing the fact that a 15-year-old student of his was having sex with older men and by pushing for schools to implement a curriculum that teaches tolerance and acceptance of gays.

Now, according to World Net Daily, it has come to light that Jennings has had nothing but praise for NAMBLA founder Harry Hay who passed away in 2002.

In a 1997 speech, Jennings is quoted as saying, "One of the people that's always inspired me is Harry Hay, who started the first ongoing gay rights groups in America. In 1948, he tried to get people to join the Mattachine Society. It took him two years to find one other person who would join."

"Well, [in] 1993," Jennings continued, "Harry Hay marched with a million people in Washington, who thought he had a good idea 40 years before."

Hay started the Mattachine Society in 1948 to advocate for homosexual rights and later founded the Radical Faeries to continue his work. Harry Hay was also a long-time supporter of NAMBLA, the North American Man Boy Love Association, a group that endorses sexual relations between adult men and young boys. Hay advocated for the removal of all age-of-consent laws in this country to allow young men to be preyed upon by older men.

In a 1983 speech to NAMBLA, Hay said "I also would like to say at this point that it seems to me that in the gay community the people who should be running interference for NAMBLA are the parents and friends of gays. Because if the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what thirteen-, fourteen-, and fifteen-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world. And they would be welcoming this, and welcoming the opportunity for young gay kids to have the kind of experience that they would need."

This is the same man our 'Safe Schools Czar' "admires".

Jennings gave a speech in 1995 outlining his intention to manipulate the English language to get what he wanted when promoting the gay agenda in schools. Instead of approaching the subject directly, the current 'Safe Schools Czar' decided to approach it from a "safety" angle.

"If the radical right can succeed in portraying us as preying on children, we will lose. Their language – 'promoting homosexuality' is one example – is laced with subtle and not-so-subtle innuendo that we are 'after their kids.'

In Massachusetts the effective reframing of this issue was the key to the success of the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth. We immediately seized upon the opponent's calling card – safety – and explained how homophobia represents a threat to students' safety by creating a climate where violence, name-calling, health problems, and suicide are common. Titling our report 'Making Schools Safe for Gay and Lesbian Youth,' we automatically threw our opponents onto the defensive and stole their best line of attack. This framing short-circuited their arguments and left them back-pedaling from day one."

What happens behind closed doors between two consenting adults is none of my business, but where do the gay activists feel it is their place to teach our kids about homosexuality? Last time I looked, it was still the job of the parents to do so if they choose.

Mr. Jennings should be getting the Van Jones treatment for radical lunacy. Instead, I have yet to hear one peep from even Fox News. Now if this had been a pastor pushing for prayer in public school, the left would never let it go until he was exiled to the far reaches of Antarctica.

Education decisions belong in the hands of parents, not NAMBLA.

Miley & Me

Let me preface this post with this: I have a love/hate relationship with Disney. While I enjoy their products most of the time, their political capitulation to the liberals has left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth.

Cheyenne has been REALLY into Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers within the past six months. While I feel like I'm in a reeducation camp, I've actually come to enjoy watching her shows on The Disney Channel. Not because of any great substantive plots, but because they're so simple. I don't have to worry about what Cheyenne's being exposed to on these shows, and the music reflects some good values.

Miley Cyrus, who plays the teenager living a secret life as a superstar, has come under fire a few times for questionable behavior. Most recently, the 16-year-old has been criticized for risque behavior on the recent Kids' Choice Awards on Nickelodeon. While I may not condone everything she does, Miley does, for the most part, represent the wholesome image of your all-American girl. The message of her music in songs like "Nobody's Perfect" and "The Climb" give a positive, uplifting feeling.

Recently, one of Miley's songs, "Party in the USA," has been satirized by a gay group who has changed the song to "Party in the FIP." FIP (Fire Island Pines) is a gay beach on Long Island, New York. The video shows men in Speedos frolicking on the beach, and the video itself has been a popular youtube view. Disney's response to all the hoopla? Crickets.

MSNBC just LOVED all of this, as you will see in this video.



While I am more of a libertarian on what people do behind closed doors, I feel this is a very bad move on Disney's part. Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana has become a sensation that has fed the Disney cash cow to the point of gluttony, yet Disney has catered to the gay agenda for many years with "Gay Days" at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Do they not realize that there are MANY more heterosexual families who don't want to spend the money for an expensive vacation to have to explain why two men are kissing or why two women are holding hands? I, personally, don't want to have to explain that to a young child.

Millions of more dollars have been put into the pockets of Disney from Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers than their most successful "Gay Days" event. The message being sent? Parents and children alike are longing for a more simple and wholesome form of entertainment. We're tired of having our children's innocence robbed from them at far too young an age. And we aren't afraid to use our spending power to send the word.

Disney has to ask themselves, "What is the message we want to send?" They're trying to lead the double life of a teenage secret pop star. Eventually, the secret is revealed.

Mandatory Gay Lesson Angers Parents

The Alameda United School District (AUSD) has implemented a curriculum to teach LGBT tolerance to students. Parents have sued the school district to opt their children out of the lessons.

The mandatory program has been officially named "LGBT Lesson #9" and was approved on May 26 by the school board. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade will be required to learn "tolerance" for the homosexual lifestyle starting this upcoming school year. The school has decided not to give the parents the choice to opt their children out of the lessons even if the lesson goes against their religious beliefs.

In kindergarten, the schools plan to introduce children to "The New Girl … And Me" by Jacqui Robins. The book is about a young girl who is new at a school and strikes up a friendship with another girl after a popular boy refuses to play with her.

In first grade, students will read "Who is in a Family?" By Robert Skutch. It explores different types of families. One page states, " … Robin's family is made up of her dad, Clifford, her dad's partner, Henry, and Robin's cat, Sassy."

Curriculum for 1st grade students includes 'Who's in a Family?'

Teachers will ask children to "identify and describe a variety of families" and "to understand that families have some similarities and some differences."

"If a student responds that one family in the book is made up of a mother, a father and two children and a cat, you may acknowledge that some families look like this," the curriculum states, "but also ask students for other examples of what a family can look like."

Teachers are told to reflect and "reinforce to students that in our school and our community there are many different types of families that provide love and care to each other. Remind the students that all family structures are equally important."

Second grade students will read about two homosexual penguins that raise a young chick in the book "And Tango Makes Three" by J. Richardson and P. Parnell.

The two male penguins, Roy and Silo, are described as being "a little bit different."

"They didn't spend much time with the girl penguins, and the girl penguins didn't spend much time with them," the text states.

When the male penguins nurture an egg, it soon hatches. "We'll call her Tango," it states, "because it takes two to make a Tango."

The book declares, "Tango was the very first penguin in the zoo to have two daddies."

3rd grade students will watch 'That's a Family' film

In the third grade, students will watch a film called "That's a Family," featuring some homosexual couples in addition to traditional families.

According to the lesson plan, it aims to "assist students in developing sensitivity to gay and lesbian family structures" and teach "respect and tolerance for every type of family."

Fourth graders will be required to read an essay titled, "My School is Accepting – but Things Could be Better" by Robert, an 11-year-old who has two lesbian mothers.

They are introduced to terms such as "ally," "gay," "lesbian" and "LGBT."

Teachers are instructed to ask, "How do you think Robert feels when he hears people say things like, 'this is gay' or 'You're so gay'?"

"This curriculum also puts teachers in an awkward position," England said. "They're forced to teach that traditional views are bigoted, even if they hold traditional views."

By fifth grade, students learn to "identify stereotypes about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people." They are told that "LGBT people have made important contributions within the United States and beyond."

I think the most disturbing part of this whole idea is that more parental rights are being usurped by those in power. Isn't it the job of a parent to instill the idea of "tolerance" for others into their children?

The idea of home visits by the government to those households with children has already been proposed under the guise of "concern for the children." What did parents do before all these government goons decided to make a power grab for our nation's future? We used three things to guide us: faith, instinct, and common sense. The government needs to allow parents to continue using these tools in the rearing of the next generation.

When you hear that my kids are being visited at home by government wonks, please send flowers to the funeral home. I'll be the guest of honor.

Obama: June is Gay Pride Month

This snuck in under the radar, but Newsmax.com picked it up. Why didn't the MSM tout this? It fits in with their left-wing socialist agenda.

Dear Leader has proclaimed the month of June to be "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month." Evidently, someone must feel that he's in trouble with gay voters.

The proclamation cites Obama's desire to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and the military's "don't ask; don't tell" policy. He doesn't give a timeline for doing this, nor does he mention that he has publicly decried gay marriage in the past.

Repealing the DOMA would essentially force states who do not recognize gay marriage to do so should a gay "married" couple move to their state. Anyone up for the Tenth Amendment???

Why should an entire month be set aside for pride? Isn't the left always saying that people should be proud of who they are? Wouldn't that mean all year long?

Hey left!! Can you get Obamarx to issue a "July is Caucasian Pride Month" proclamation?

German Penguins Push Gay Agenda

At first, I thought I was going to have a stroke when I saw the headline "Gay Penguins Raise Chick in German Zoo". I got as far as "Gay Penguins" and thought "There is NO WAY Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, or ANY of my beloved hockey team could be gay!" For a split second, I had mental pictures I couldn't stomach.

Evidently, there are two male penguins in a zoo in Germany that are raising a chick from an egg that had been abandoned. The two male penguins incubated and cared for the egg until it hatched. The story originally came off the AP and has been posted on foxnews.com.

How long do you think it will be before the militant gay community is using this as an example of how wonderful they are as parents? Before I get any backlash, I'm not saying that gays are bad people without any sense of morals. The gays I know are loving, caring, and wonderful people whom I cherish as friends. But I do not feel that parenting fits into the gay agenda.

Do I feel that children belong in a stable and loving home? Yep. But children need the influence of both a male and a female in their lives to provide a sense of direction from two different perspectives. That is also why I feel that single-parent adoptions are not what's best for children. Do I know what's best for children? No. But my maternal instinct and God point me in the right direction when I have no answers.

The next time I take my kids to the zoo, I'll be waiting to see if the penguin display will be painted in rainbows.

Harvard: The New Berkeley

Those of you who are trying to decide what college to spend your money at for your cherubs to get an education, you might not want to send them to Harvard. The university has just established a chair in Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender studies. This is not education, it is indoctrination.

Once a coveted degree to have, Harvard has shown that they are more interested in kowtowing to the social activists than in providing an unparalleled education. What kind of job can you get with a degree in GLB&T studies? A job with a radical activist organization.

I want to clarify a few things. First, I do not hate gays. I have gay friends and family members. I love them, but I do not agree with what they do behind closed doors in the privacy of their own home. It is not my place to judge them. Second, since when does a behavioral choice require a separate set of civil rights? You say being gay is not a choice? I beg to differ. There are many people who were once members of the gay community who are now heterosexual. We are all tempted in our lives, but it is the depth of our strength to fight temptation that defines who we are.

Those who choose to send your children to Harvard: God bless you and your children. That is your decision. Just make sure that you are sending them there for the right reasons, not just to show how compassionate and tolerant you can be.
