$311,752,000

Aren't you glad you work so hard? Gonna start on the congressionally-delegated side. I'll probably have that ready for Monday. On the weekends, everyone has other stuff to do, and I think this is too important to go up when no one's paying attention. This oughta be a blast!!!

Aren't all these projects going to require machines that produce CO2. I guess the government isn't concerned enough about CO2 and global warming to cap their CO2 production. If they are so worried about global warming why aren't they setting the example. Oh silly me, that's right, it's not about the environment, it's about collecting more taxes from the people!

They got my change, when do I get some hope?

Ramblings: You don't, hon.

Bill: You got it, pal!

Oh, I can totally see how all of this pertains to identifying and creating clean energy sources. But then again, I'm wearing my green colored glasses. They make everything the government does pertain to green technology.

Spinster: Isn't it amazing that while we are tightening our belts, Obama can set aside over $311 million of OUR MONEY for this stuff? And I think Bungalow Bill hit on a great point (above). There's definitely not a lack of hypocrisy in this administration!

Check back Monday for the Congressionally-directed earmarks. Those are the ones we can look at and say "You are OUTTA there!"

This is just the tip of the iceage.

Get with the program. Live in the city and take what we give you.

Eric: I'm not quite sure what you mean by "Get with the program. Live in the city and take what we give you."

If you think that this is the type of thing a government wonk would say, then I say NO! It is not only my freedom at stake, but that of my kids. And who should dictate who gets what? That is the antithesis of what this country was founded on. The Founders wanted people to be free to decide what was best for them. That's why their ideas of liberty were written down in the Constitution. Those ideals are a threat to those who think they know what's best for all Americans, and that's why we're in such a mess now.

If I misunderstood, please feel free to respectfully correct me. Thanks!
