Friday Night Fluff: Another 80's Classic

One of the best movies to ever come out of the 80's was 'Less Than Zero', the story of two friends trying to desperately save the drugged-out third. The drug-addicted friend was played by Robert Downey, Jr. and was (IMO) the best performance of his career.

Anyone who loves the movie 'Less Than Zero' is going to remember this from the movie. Happy Friday, all!

Despite being a Simon & Garfunkel song, it was nowhere near as fluffy as Manic Monday.

It doesn't beat Molly Ringwald movies or The Lost Boys.

Steve: I like the Bangles version better. Never liked Manic Monday. Not edgy enough for my taste.

BB: I'll give you The Lost Boys, but I could never stomach Molly Ringwald (not even in The Stand). She reminded me too much of the kind of girls we used to make fun of while smoking in the bathroom in high school.

Having skipped the 80s due to motherhood, I don't know this movie...but this isn't the first time I have heard that about Downey's performance. Must see it soon.

Being a product of the 60s and 70s, I prefer the S&G version above all others.

On a side note, happy to see my second favorite team (being a Hoosier) will proudly represent the AFC in the Super Bowl! Only question is, will Peyton be playing Daddy's old team or just the old QB? LOL Have a GREAT week!
