Paranoia? I Call It Survival

Wednesday night, we all went over to our local McDonald's for some food. I didn't have the gumption to really cook anything of substance, and state law requires us to feed the kids. It doesn't say WHAT we have to feed them (yet) but only that they have full bellies.

Sitting there eating, I happened to notice a couple of families who must have been traveling in the dining room. The women were wearing hijabs (the muslim headscarf), and my radar kicked on. I sat through the rest of my meal not paying attention to my family, but watching their moves.

I know that the libs will say that it's only a small percentage of muslims that commit heinous acts, but do I want to take that chance with my most precious children in tow? I'm sure that the same mentality was in effect on 9/10/2001.

For those who may think I'm being unnecessarily paranoid, remember who committed the following acts:

Pentagon--9/11

Mumbai, India

USS Cole

Lockerbie, Scotland--Pan Am 103

Khobar Towers, Saudi Arabia

Madrid Train Bombing--2004

I'll be paranoid and live, thank you.

Radical Islamic Speaker at Fort Hood

Just one month after Nidal Hasan waged jihad on our troops at Fort Hood, the Army base welcomed Dr. Louay Safi last week. Safi was on base to speak to troops about to be deployed to Afghanistan. According to CBN News, the man who is a top official for the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) was dispatched to teach our soldiers about Islam before heading into Afghanistan.

How does this earn the label "radical?" In 2007, ISNA -- the group with Safi in a high position -- was named an un-indicted co-conspirator in a trial dealing with the funding of terrorism through the Holy Land Foundation (HLF). The HLF had five members convicted of funneling money into Palestine that allegedly wound up in the hands of Hamas.

Also during the trial of the HLF, evidence was provided by the prosecution that showed ISNA is very closely linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, a jihadist group that has paved the way for groups such as al Qaeda and Hamas.

Dr. Safi has also worked for a Saudi-funded organization called the International Institute of Islamic Thought. The Islamic think-tank, founded in 1981, espouses this overview on their site.

"The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) is a private, non-profit, academic, cultural and educational institution, concerned with general issues of Islamic thought and education. The Institute was established in the United States of America in 1981 (1401 AH). It is independent of local politics, party orientations and ideological bias."

Anyone buying that last line??? Didn't think so.

In 1995, Safi is heard on an FBI wiretap talking to the convicted terrorist Sami al-Arian. al-Arian, a professor of computer science at the University of South Florida in Tampa, pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to aid the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Ol' Sami boy is also a co-founder of ISNA. Let's see...who holds a high position within ISNA? Oh yeah. Dr. Safi, the man who spoke at Fort Hood last week.

A spokesman for the Army base told CBN News that "Safi was one of the faculty members during a seminar about Islam for the Army's 135th expeditionary unit. He said speakers are invited based on learning objectives, audience experience, and availability. The spokesman added that "organizers of the seminar were not aware of Safi's alleged association, but have had no issues or concerns over his presentations nor has any unit raised any."

ALLEGED association??? I think not. Seems pretty clear to me.

What the hell were Fort Hood officials thinking? One month after 14 were killed at the Army's largest base, they're now inviting the enemy to speak there. It's a disgrace.

PC has no frickin' place in our military!!!

Flight 93: A Powerful Tribute

With the eight-year anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on American soil fast approaching, I wanted to pay tribute to the heroes of United Flight 93. Shanksville is not far from where I live, so this aspect of that horrible day is very close to my heart.

I remember that day as one that started off in a typical manner. I got the boys up and out the door to school. While outside on the porch for a cig, I couldn't help but notice what a beautiful day it was. A cloudless sky with moderate temperatures. It was perfect.

I came inside when I heard the phone ring. It was my step-father. "Do you have the t.v. on? A plane just hit the World Trade Center." I tuned in just in time to see the second plane hit the towers.

We chatted briefly and decided to hang up and follow the events unfolding before our eyes. Minutes later, he called again to tell me that a plane had crashed near Somerset, Pennsylvania. My step-sister's husband was an EMT and had heard the news over the scanner. I felt violated and confused. My first reaction was to go get my boys from school. Should I? Do they really know how much I love them? Will they be safe? These thoughts consumed me. I prayed to God to keep them safe until they returned home.

As we got more news over the following days, I came to realize just what kind of special people were on that plane. The story of the soldiers who enlisted in mid-flight came to symbolize what makes this country great. Free people thinking free thoughts decided to take a stand and protect their beloved country from the evil that had overtaken the cockpit.

Unfortunately, the memorial now being built to honor those brave men and women is also going to remember the terrorists who killed 40 innocent people. There are too many symbolic references built into the design for me to go into, but I highly recommend the book Crescent of Betrayal: Dishonoring the Heroes of Flight 93. If you want a brief synopsis of the controversy, here is the link to the website. It'll keep the anger alive.

While I continue to pray for all the lives lost on that day (except for the terrorist dirtbags), I do not want their memory being put side by side with those who killed them. I found this great video tribute on youtube. As you watch, please remember those who fought and won the first battle against Islamic fascism.

Let's Roll.

Here Comes the Caliphate!

Yesterday, I posted about a Michigan wrestling coach whose contract was not renewed because he's a Christian. The principal of the school is a devout Muslim. My ending sentence was: "The looming caliphate must be stopped!"

The term "caliphate" means a form of government based on the teachings of Islam. Watching the events of today's world unfold, one can only come to the conclusion that Islam's goal is the installation of a worldwide caliphate complete with Sharia law.

From The London Times comes this story that was picked up on foxnews.com. While reading, keep in mind that this is the religion that Obama has kowtowed and apologized to. Some even believe he is a Muslim himself. The way he has been treated by the Muslim community can lead one to believe that to be true.

Eight Christians Burned to Death in Pakistan After Koran is 'Defiled'

Paramilitary troops patrolled the streets of a town in eastern Pakistan yesterday after Muslim radicals burned to death eight members of a Christian family, raising fears of violence spreading to other areas.

Hundreds of armed supporters of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, an outlawed Islamic militant group, burned dozens of Christian homes in Gojra over the weekend after allegations that a copy of the Koran had been defiled.

The mob opened fire indiscriminately, threw gas bombs and looted houses as thousands of frightened Christians ran for safety. “They were shouting anti-Christian slogans and attacked our houses,” Rafiq Masih, a resident of the predominantly Christian colony, said. Residents said that police stood aside while the mob went on the rampage. “We kept begging for protection, but police did not take action,” Masih said.

Police and local officials said that at least eight people, including four women and a child, were killed in the fires. Two others died of gunshot wounds. Residents said that the casualties were much higher; one claimed that the number of dead could be in the dozens as many bodies were still buried under the rubble. Shahbaz Bhatti, the Minister for Minorities, said that 40 Christian homes were torched in rioting. He said there was no truth to allegations that a Koran had been defiled, and accused the police of ignoring his appeal to provide protection to Christians.

Tension started mounting last week after Muslims accused three Christian youths of burning a copy of the Koran. They denied the allegations, but clerics called for their death. On Saturday, hundreds of supporters of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, an outlawed Sunni sectarian group, poured into the town from surrounding districts. The group is believed to have close links with Al Qaeda and has been involved in several terrorist attacks targeting security forces in recent years.

Television footage showed armed men running through the streets, gunfire, and women and children wailing. Blackened furniture lay outside burning homes, while a group of people rushed a man suffering from burns on a cart through the streets. Rehman Malik, the Interior Minister, said that the paramilitary troops were sent after police and the local administration failed to control the situation. Security forces were also placed on high alert to prevent violence from spreading to other towns of Punjab.

Security in Gojra, which has a Christian population of about 50,000, was tightened yesterday as funerals were held for the eight victims. Christians make up a small minority of Pakistan’s 160 million people and have been the target of attacks by Islamic extremists before, particularly in eastern Punjab.

Christians also face intimidation because of discriminatory blasphemy laws, including one that carries the death penalty for defiling the Koran and images of the Prophet Muhammad. The law is often misused to settle personal scores.

This is the so-called "Religion of Peace". While every religion has their lunatic fringe, it seems like some of the most heinous crimes against humanity are committed by Muslims on a regular basis. We're told that not all Muslims support what happens to Christians in the name of Islam. If that's true, ask yourself this: Why isn't the Muslim community around the world screaming out against it? I offer that they condone it and secretly encourage it in every mosque from Dearborn, Michigan, to Mecca.

As the MSM won't report on this, I'm considering it one of my duties to make sure that this word gets out. That is, until my hands are cut off under Sharia law.

Religion of Peace? Not If You're a Pakistani Child

14 year old boy bought for $7,000 by Taliban

We've been told time and again the Islam is the religion of peace, right? Well, according to the Washington Times, the Taliban in Pakistan is BUYING (not recruiting) children as young as seven to be used as suicide bombers in targeting Pakistani, Afghan, and U.S. troops.

The top Taliban leader in Pakistan, Baitullah Mehsud, has been buying the children for anywhere from $7,000 to $14,000, according to a Pakistani official who wished to remain anonymous. The average per capita income in Pakistan is approximately $2,600 a year, and the amount paid depends on how quickly they are needed and how close they need to get to their target. Mehsud has two bounties on his head: Pakistan has offered $615,300 for his capture (dead or alive; I prefer dead), and the U.S. has offered $5 million. I'd give this nutjob up for free.

While suicide bombers are not uncommon in Islamic terrorist conflicts, the age of these ones seems to be. Most other conflicts (Palestinian-Israeli) have had suicide bombers in their late teens to early 20's.

I have just one question: Where the hell is Amnesty International??? I forgot. They're busy boo-hooing about waterboarding at Club Gitmo. In the meantime, innocent children are often being kidnapped from their families and sold to this monster. The liberals always seem to look the other way when it comes to innocent life (PLANNED PARENTHOOD, NARAL, and NOW).

If Obamarx (not a typo) is so concerned about "the children", why isn't he condemning the actions of his fellow Muslim brother? And don't tell me he may not know about it. This man makes sure he's got his nose into everything. Your silence speaks volumes, Barry. That could be construed as a sign of agreement on your part, Dear Leader.

Our brave men and women are over there fighting for the freedom of people who have grown up in a culture where women are stoned to death for being raped, girls are genitally mutilated, and tolerance is unheard of. They shouldn't have to worry about dying when giving an angelic child a chocolate bar.

The Taliban needs to be given a decision: Start respecting human life or every one of your mosques is going to glow in the dark. Feeling lucky, Mehsud???
